What is one accomplishment you made in 2012 that you are really proud of? (Since our biggest accomplishment of 2013 will be these sweet Cuddlebugs!)

Breastfeeding my DS2 for 9.5 months. It's the longest I ever BF any of my babes (DD for 7 months, DS1 for 3 weeks) and I was so proud to go 9.5 months. The first 8 weeks of BF him were EXCRUCIATING and I almost quit 3 times. When he was 5 weeks old I had a complete meltdown about BF and stopped for about 12 hours, then my lovely mommy talked me back into it

I know many BF for much longer but I was really proud of doing my 9.5 months! And, BF for so long took me down to about 7 lbs below my usual weight! I was only about 2 lbs from the weight I was when I got married.

I got first place in my age group in a triathlon last summer. DH & his family are really into tri's, me not so much, but I try to do one per season (except pregnancy years...) just to be involved. It wasn't an overly competitive race but I'll take the glory all the same!

Hmmm. In 2012 I really focused on stepping out of my comfort zone. I started hitting the gym regularly (until pregnancy sickness kicked in!), took on some more challenging building projects, made myself fly to Florida instead of driving (I don't care for flying. At all.)

But I think I was most proud of coaching basketball! It was so unnatural and uncomfortable to me but I did it and ended up having a lot of fun!
