Question 2 other BTDT Mommas!

This will be my third child and ive just noticed that I can ALREADY feel my uterus about 2-3 inches above my pubic bone....Am I crazy or do y'all think its just because Its my third pregnancy?

OMG PLEASE DON'T SAY TWINS!

I had always wanted to see a psychic / palmist and the opportunity arose while my husband and I were at our State Renn Fest. She told me she sees twins. :bullcrap::bullcrap:Holy POOP BALLS! Sorry for the harsh words...haha

It's probably just because it's your third. I haven't gained any weight yet, but my tummy already has a more rounded look. One of my good friends just had her third and she definitely started showing a lot sooner than she had with her previous two. I was hoping to keep this one a secret for awhile but I have a feeling I won't be able to!

I had a little jiggle left from my two, too. But the jiggle has changed shape! Banana peppers do sound good!

Oh no! I don't want to show earlier! It's really hard with the genetic testing...because I don't want people to know till we know he/she is ok. Sigh. After Halloween I might become a hermit until we get the test results around 13 weeks. Sigh.

I think you tend to show sooner for each baby Sad

Glad I'm not the only one thinking crazy thoughts about twins! Ha ha ha

With my #2 I had people asking at 14 weeks (it was getting pretty obvious) and they had been wondering before then. Each woman is different though. The great thing about his time of year is that clothes can be a little baggier and bigger and people don't think a lot about it!

Oh man! It's so awkward with the genetic testing. I'm fairly certain all will be ok...but there is still that little glimmer of worry. Know what I mean? I was WAY more worried with DD as DSD was DH's only child and so who knows if he could have 'normal' babies. Now we know it's possible, so that's good.

Ok, so after halloween I'm going into hiding. I was going to make a carebear costume for halloween...a baggy full body number. I hope that's not too revealing. Maybe I'll get a girdle too. Blum 3

Chrisie: yikes! I don't know. I've read that the uterus is like any other muscle and has "muscle memory" so that is why you tend to show sooner with each pregnancy because it "remembers" how to grow. Can't wait to hear if it's one or two in there Wink

Heather: I really think it depends on the person, how much weight you have "leftover" from prior pregnancies, how strong your ab muscles are when you get pregnant again, etc. I might be in the minority here but I didn't start showing with my 2nd AT ALL until about 15-16 weeks, then it was still like I just ate too much for like another month (identical to my 1st pregnancy). Here is my space from #2 for proof - 2nd "space" down...it won't let me do just that post for some reason. Anyway, just my 2 cents Wink We'll see how this one goes but I'll be surprised if it's much different.

I think I'm lighter than I was at the start with DD but I'm not 100% sure. I don't have any idea where I would have written that down. Our BB was dissolved I think...and our spaces? Who knows where they went. Sad I have lost 25 lbs recently so I'm at about 153 now...and I'm 5'8" tall. I'm technically in the 'normal' range. I haven't done any ab exercises since DD was born so I'm pretty sure my abs aren't in the best of shape. LOL.

I love your pics...skinny minnie!

Ooooh, I found my space! I didn't know there was that 'keepers' section! THANK YOU! Here's mine from DD:

pico83 (not verified)

I didn't show any earlier with #3, and I didn't feel my uterus until 8 weeks and didn't show until 15+ weeks. With my 4th pregnancy (this summer) I did the hermit thing after my first u/s (which didn't go well). I was only around 8 weeks but I was at the point where people who knew me might start to wonder and I didn't feel like dealing with that during a nonviable pregnancy. GL with the testing.

Aweeee, *hugs* girl. Sounds like you have some idea of why I would become a hermit. Sorry you had to go through that.
