Chrisie: yikes! I don't know. I've read that the uterus is like any other muscle and has "muscle memory" so that is why you tend to show sooner with each pregnancy because it "remembers" how to grow. Can't wait to hear if it's one or two in there
Heather: I really think it depends on the person, how much weight you have "leftover" from prior pregnancies, how strong your ab muscles are when you get pregnant again, etc. I might be in the minority here but I didn't start showing with my 2nd AT ALL until about 15-16 weeks, then it was still like I just ate too much for like another month (identical to my 1st pregnancy). Here is my space from #2 for proof - 2nd "space" down...it won't let me do just that post for some reason. Anyway, just my 2 centsWe'll see how this one goes but I'll be surprised if it's much different.
I think I'm lighter than I was at the start with DD but I'm not 100% sure. I don't have any idea where I would have written that down. Our BB was dissolved I think...and our spaces? Who knows where they went.I have lost 25 lbs recently so I'm at about 153 now...and I'm 5'8" tall. I'm technically in the 'normal' range. I haven't done any ab exercises since DD was born so I'm pretty sure my abs aren't in the best of shape. LOL.

I didn't show any earlier with #3, and I didn't feel my uterus until 8 weeks and didn't show until 15+ weeks. With my 4th pregnancy (this summer) I did the hermit thing after my first u/s (which didn't go well). I was only around 8 weeks but I was at the point where people who knew me might start to wonder and I didn't feel like dealing with that during a nonviable pregnancy. GL with the testing.
