I would love to have twins, but really hope it is just the one for sanity sake!
There are private places, I may look into the cost but really it makes no difference if I find out now or find out in 3 weeks. I will speak to my husband when he gets home from work - I haven't told him the possibility of twins yet!

that would be exciting to have twins on our board. They are convinced at my work that I am having twins. I pointed out I show quick, and made the ultrasound technician double check (both times I've had an ultrasound) I definitely couldn't wait 3 weeks!
omg thats crazy are you bigger this time than with your other 3?
That is crazy! I would probably do a private place too but the likelyhood would be small considering you already had an ultrasound with only one baby. Good luck with your decision! ;)
Just a s/n about hearing the heartbeat: Around 18 weeks, I posted on my BB (april) that I heard the heartbeat in two different spots. Very distinctly, it wasn't like one was muffled or anything.
When I had my 20 week u/s, there was only one little girl in there :-) The doc said as the baby gets bigger, you get to hear the heartbeat easier, so you don't have to be "right on it" to hear it... which is why I heard it in different spots and on different sides of the belly.
That is definately exciting!! I could not wait three weeks to find out though lol
Well I spoke to my husband last night and he doesn't seem too concerned about twins. He said he does not want to spend money on a private scan when we are getting one in three weeks anyway. Honestly, I'm not concerned at all.

I am having nightmares about this happening at my appointment today, hahaha. Not that having twins would be terrible but Id be hard pressed to find a doctor who will be really on board with a vaginal delivery so it terrifies me!!
