Saylor's room

Its not completely done, but almost there. I know we will get 'knick-knack' type of gifts, so I'll decorate more with those, but I did put my collection of nursery ryhymes and fairy tales on her shelves.

Crib (no skirt or bedding on it yet) and an old chaise that was in our room, but I think it works well in here.

Cloth Diapers, regular diapers, burp cloths, and the empty basket did have muslin blankets which my son has now hidden somewhere, lol!
My mom didn't like my curtains so she is supposedly getting different ones. It gets bright in this room too, so it needs it

Love me some IKEA! We changed out the knobs to make it a bit more 'girly'. (I still need to put away all the white onesies from DS that I washed)

and of course the closet! Which has been a dumping ground for all the baby things.

I've been a little shopping crazy, but they are sizes 3months to 2T. And I stocked up on dapers when I had coupons and really good sales.(Gotta love the deer head on the top shelf, lol!)

Wooo hoooo! It looks great! Love the deer head! Ha Ha! The dresser is gorgeous!

Now I feel bad that my baby doesn't get a room. Sad

How exciting!! Good job in there.

Oh, don't feel bad Heather. The baby will be thrilled that he/she gets to sleep in mama and dada's room. Really, the room is more for US then the baby. Wink Only my first two have ever had a room, and honestly, it never got used for most of the first year!!

Thanks ladies!

She'll be in our room for quite some time, at least through my maternity leave, but the nesting thing made me "need" to get this part done, lol!

It's a very sweet room for your baby girl! Smile

Heather, I'm the same as you...until last weekend you wouldn't even know there would be a new baby here in a few short weeks. But last Friday I checked out this liquidation place up the street from my work and found a changing table w/ 3 drawers on the bottom and an arm's reach cosleeper. Those are now set up in our bedroom. But she won't be getting a nursery. I like the small amount of effort that has been involved, personally. Wink

LOL, ya. We've had a bassinet, change table, small dresser and glider rocker set up in our bedroom for months. That will be baby's room until we figure out what to do! LOL. I *think* my DD is a good sleeper but we won't really know until baby is here I guess. I'm hoping since she's almost 3.5 if she gets woken by baby she'll have the ability to know it's baby and just go back to sleep. Historically she has been a good sleeper so we'll see. We have at least 2 camping trips booked this summer and hope to do more, so that will be a test...both of them in the same trailer. Blum 3
