... I told MIL that I wanted her to buy the play yard/bassinet today, thinking she would either say no or would be waiting until a much more reasonable date to buy big baby items. BUT she is all like "Ok, go get the one you want" so we went to Target and I was just going to get one of the cheaper $70 ones, but MIL loved the Eddie Bauer one. This one. I figured it was gender neutral enough, I am not a picky person, plus who fights with free.

So DH demands we put it together once we get home and IT DOESN'T FIT IN OUR ROOM!... but we have the smaller of the two rooms in our apartment, so DS is going to sacrifice his loveseat and possibly his art desk, and switch us rooms. hopefully we will get this done tonight. My little sis should be here soon to help.

also having some RL pain. or maybe it is just gas, who knows... LOL

Ohhhh I like the style a lot. But I am a weirdo and I like black a lot lol.... and you cannot fight with free. Also, getting things early is a big plus and stress off (IMO)

But whaaaaa? You are setting it up now like permanently?! Or just to see if it fit?

My husband and I actually gave the kids the "master" as well and our room is smaller marginally so I can relate there. The bathroom in the smaller room was better and we don't have as much stuff as the kids have to be honest.

Wow! That's a pretty nice score! I love that you set it up already. LOL, so funny! We actually have a Travel Lite Crib which is like a pack n' play but smaller. We bought it for traveling when DD was a baby but it will be newbie's bassinet this go around. They are like 20% smaller than the normal pack n' play.

I'm having some abdominal pain today too. I helped my mom move some boxes today but I made sure to carry fairly light ones...obviously I still did a bit much. My abs feel achy, like I did a bunch of crunches (which NEVER happens! LOL)

I was just putting it up temporarily, though DH wants it up permanently (he is nuts and maybe over excited). I told him it is ridiculous.

My sister and BIL just left after helping move the big stuff, she says I am nuts for needing it moved around tonight, I said I didn't need it done, but when I get the itch to do something, I just want it done. plus I want to be atleast mostly organized for school work on Monday.
