Default should I got to the docotor or not? (not OB)

I think it is all stemming from allergies, but now the mucuous is in my chest and sometimes a nice shade of green, sorry TMI.

OB said to go to the doctor, but I am leary of being on anything during pregnancy. I was thinking of just taking today to rest, work from home, hot showers, neti pot and see if I can make it better natuarally.

Opinions? SHould I just go to the clinic?

Personally I'd go, I am not too worried about meds tho. I've been through enough meds during pregnancy to not be worried. I hope u fel better soon!

I would go too if your OB recommended it. I got a "mild" case of the flu when I was pregnant with my first and just decided to tough it out and it got to the point where I was so miserable that I thought I might literally die. What I'd probably do is after you get a prescription, call your OB's office to make sure they are OK with whatever it is. Get feeling better!

If you feel okay about waiting it out, then wait. You will know if you really need to head in. People are under the impression that green mucus is always "bad." Well, obviously it's not great, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're dying either. I've had green mucus (and the kids too) many times, and just wait it out. 9 times out of 10 it clears up on its own and is MUCH better within a couple days.

Ack, I am just getting over all that nonsense. I think you should go to the doctor, just because it can turn to pneumonia pretty quickly. Also, a humidifier, and mucinex.

I actually made an appointment and then slept through it. I feel better, not 100%, but better. Going to see if I continue to improve tommorrow. No fever, so I'm not too concerned.

    Fingers crossed it goes away.
