(yes Heather something else worrying me!) Last night baby moved ALL OVER the place.. I also had a lot of the contraction type pain before I went to bed. then when I woke up this morning TONS of movement. then nothign the rest of the day. maybe a little wiggle here or there but nothing major. usually if I lay down on my side its like instant movement and today that didn't even work. My dr hasnt mentioned anything abotu how much/how often I should be feeling things, and I Wasn't concerned until today when there was hardly any. Should I be worried or did baby just wear himself out yesterday and he decided to take a snow day today too? (there has been SOME movement but nothing major and no where near as much)
I know I have days I feel more movement than others. I probably wouldn't think much of it unless it was a pretty big change from normal. But if you feel it's pretty out of the ordinary and not just regular variation it can't hurt to call. Hope baby gets moving and gives you some reassurance though and puts your mind at rest. KUP
Kick counts do start at 28 weeks, BUT you are very close to that! My doctor always told me that I should be able to feel 3 movements in a half hour... any movement other than hiccups. That being said, if you feel like the movement is a big change from normal and it doesn't feel right to you, there is certainly no harm in at least calling your doctor to see what they say.
This baby has very inconsistent movement. Some days lots, some days almost nothing. I asked at my appointment and they weren't worried. They said if baby turns and kicks towards the back, you may not even notice items that's why you feel less. I feel like this baby doesn't move nearly as much as my first two but doctor said he's probably just kicking into the placenta or something.
This baby is really inconsistent at well. I get freaked out about every other day about it. Apple Juice usually wakes her up and that makes me feel better.
I'm hoping I'm feeling her less because she is moving up. SHe was really, really low and kicking the bottom of my uterus. I have an anterior placenta again, so I haven't felt her in the front at all yet. When I do feel her more is laying down on my side.
I know it is stressful and we all worry to much. Try the juice and see if that helps.
