with DS I was sick all day every day for over the first 11 weeks. here I am at 11 weeks... and the last few days I hae been SOOOO sick in the evenings. yes I get sick in the morning too but Im positive that is because Im soooo congested and the sinus drainage is trigging the gaggin..... the evenings though. no matter what I eat, how much I eat.. (or if I even eat) and Im in the bathroom hurling. Has anyone else had "morning" sickness start this late?
Well I've been nauseous since 4 DPO...nothing bad but still noticeable. So mine didn't just start but I will say its been different this pregnancy than with my first two. Nausea and vomiting usually hit me hard at about 5 to 6 weeks and is bad until maybe 14 to 15 weeks and doesn't go until 18 to 20 wks. With this one evm though it started early it was do mild and has slowly increased, up until about 8ish weeks I wouldn't even compare it to previous b/c it wasn't near the intensity. I had only even vomited a handful of times as opposed to multiple times a day in previous. But it has really been bad since I hit 10 wks and I found it odd it took so long to get intense. Today was really rough. I puked twice before breakfast...lovely! Not!!
I hope it's short loved for you...it is truly miserable.
My OB says to try Mucinex to dry up that drainage and prevent some of that vomiting in the morning.
As for getting sicker later into it... I feel like my symptoms tend to intensify all the way until 20 weeks and then begin to lessen. So that's normal to me, unfortunately.

I'm the same way - I feel like I can eat anything (well...not anything...) in the morning but I still get sick every single night. Yes, STILL. UGH
Ugh, I'm so sorry!! For me the worst week is always week 7 (with every single pregnancy I've had!). Then, with each passing week it gradually gets better, until it's gone around 13-14 weeks. This is one thing that is very much different from person to person though, and it sounds like others have it "peak" later on.
ive wondered if mucinex would work...I have a bottle in the cabinet but it wasnt on my "list" is there a particular one they suggest or are any of the mucinex ok?Quote:

With DD it was random for me. This pregnancy has been horrible m/s since 5 weeks. im on zofran 2times a day and have been able to eat twice a day now! tho im still loosing weight and not too hungry all the time. i hope it gets better for you!
My peak week seemed to be week 10 this time around. It's now starting to get gradually better and I hope it stays that way!!
I should try something for the drainage...I have it constantly and it is a huge trigger for the nausea/vomiting. Thanks for the advice. :)
Jackie, it gives me hope to hear you say yours peaked at week 10. I hope I follow your trend.
Lynn- it was really bad from week 10 to 11 week 3days. And the past couple days have been great! I have actually been hungry, less tired, and can (tmi) go to the bathroom again! I hope it stays and I hope you follow my trend!!
