So frustrated...

I keep getting negative tests, but with each passing day, the list of symptoms gets longer! Last night when I got out of the shower I noticed a drop of white/clear liquid on my left nipple when I was drying myself. If that isnt a slap in the face i dont know what to say. Took a FRER this AM and as negative as negative comes! My husband even told me that my boobs are bigger than usual!! I mean c'mon now body! Catch yourself up to the symptoms and give me a positive test so i can stop being a hypochondriac and think i have cancer or something instead of a baby on the way!

Christie, I truly hope you get a BFP, but I wanted to let you know that Lyme disease can cause you to lactate and could explain some of the other symptoms as well. :bigarmhug:

I tested positive for Lyme about four years ago. Noooooo memory whatsoever of any tick bites. I had/have chronic Lyme. More than likely that's not it, but I just wanted to throw it out there just in case. I suffered a long time before I got a diagnosis and treatment and don't want anyone else to go through that. Truly hope you're prego and get a blazing BFP soon though!

When you say chronic can you explain some symptoms that lead you to get tested for it? You may be on to something... The list on the Lyme disease page is awfully similar to my experience. Only kind of freaked out now, lol

So sorry if I freaked you out! First of all, if you did a google search I'm sure you found a lot of controversy surrounding chronic or late stage Lyme. To be honest, I'm not sure what I believe about it, but I did get better so I guess that says something? Everyone with reported chronic Lyme can have different symptoms/experiences, but if you think you may have it do your research and find a Lyme aware Dr. Basically I went from being 100% healthy, a runner, single mom who worked and went to school full time to a very ill individual. I woke up one morning and my legs were so weak I could not push down on the gas peddle without them shaking. They also hurt, like a constant and severe throbbing pain. Within days I was so fatigued I couldn't get out of bed most days, my legs were so weak and hurt so bad I had to use a cane, and I became very forgetful and out of it, and had severe headaches. I went to my regular Dr, a neurologist, and a rheumatologist, had a gazillion tests run and medicines prescribed and found no answers or relief. I went to my ob/gyn wondering if it was hormonal and he suspected Lyme. The initial test came back negative and he ordered another test which is not covered by insurance. Long story, but basically they quit using it because they were trying to develop a vaccine and had the vaccine been developed it would have given false positives, but the vaccine was never developed and it is a more specific test for Lyme, but rarely used, any ways it came back positive and I was treated for Lyme (antibiotics and supplements) for the better part of a year. I did improve, but ironically I did not get completely better until I got pregnant with my youngest child. Before I even knew I was pregnant I started feeling much better. My energy was back, my legs quit hurting and had strength again, and the headaches stopped. The last part makes me wonder if it wasn't hormonal or autoimmune after all, but I don't know. Lyme was the only actual diagnosis I received. (((Hugs))) If you have any more questions or want support feel free to let me know. It's a hard journey and I pray that's not what's going on.
