totally off topic.. but preggo nose is going nuts...

so we live in the woods which often means our kitties bring us wonderful "presents" not always dead ones... So we have always joked that one day we will not be able to find the source of the smell. (a few months ago we found a dead bird under our couch but before any smell started) Tonight is that night. I first smelled somethign when I got home from my apptment yesterday. we have SEARCHED the bedroom top to bottom. under hte bed, in drawers etc. cannot figure out where it is coming from. DH was in the attic, and is now going under the house to figure out if that is where it is coming from. it's in random spots in our bedroom. not where somethign would be hiding which is leading us to think its UNDER the house. (yet not sure if it was under the house why it would only be smelled in one area) and my super sensitive nose... its going insane. thinking of sleepign in the nursery tonight!

That's gross! I wouldn't have cat doors if I were you. At least then you can see what's in their mouth when they come in. Ugh.

They are horrible without the cat doors...we dont have a litter box as they prefer outside so they are free to go as they want (and it saves them from DS tons!) BUT after ripping the bedroom and closet apart last night, DH in the attic AND under the house... we have come to the conclusion something got into our wall.(unless its in the air vent in the attic) ......... going to have my brother come "investigate" and see what he thinks. The place where the smell is is strange because there's not really anythign there. we searched everything near there and nothing. The joys of living in the woods!

Blum 3 cats are wonderful! they are jsut a pain in the arse when they can't go in and out. tore the room apart AGAIN and my bro came down to inspect (he helped renovate our house so he knows where there were holes etc) still cannot find the source and its worse.... DH and I are sleeping in the living room tonight.

I use to love cats...always had them growing up. Now that I'm an adult I realize how truly annoying they are. Some people can't even close a single door in their house or the cat will flip out. Oh, and let's not even talk about them waking their owners up in the morning for food or going outside. You just can't reason with a cat. They poop in small boxes you have to clean...either that or the poop outside in your flower beds...or 'better' yet, your neighbour's flower bed. I am said neighbour. Keep your cat poop OUT of my yard!!!! Then, on top of that they climb all over EVERYTHING. Dirty kitty litter feet on your kitchen counters? Your dining room table? Feces for dinner anyone? Oh, and don't think about leaving any food out on said counters uncovered or sweet darling kitty will think it's for her.

LOL. Ok, I'm in a bad mood...not the best conversation to have I guess. I do love to snuggle cats/kittens and they are super cute. They just seem like a lot more work/inconvenience to me right now. Blum 3

LOL, tell us how you really feel Heather!

I am allergic, so that is my excuse. I used to like them as a child, but my allergy developed at the age of 14. DH developed a cat allergy at the age of 25!
