So annoyed. So at my first appointment my hemoglobin was 12 (my normal is 14) and the draw that was taken with the glucose was 10. They didn't even tell me! I know it isn't too low but really it isn't too far if I loose enough during birth that I would need a transfusion (most places 7-8). This could also be the cause of several of my issues, like the anxiety and extreme tiredness. So I guess when I go to the midwife tomorrow I will see about getting on some sort of supplement. And I will be incorporating red meats back into the diet (just haven't been able to stomach them since being pregnant), and other high iron foods.
Also the doctor noted at my last visit that "patient was upset that she had not talked to anyone from billing and received a "quote" for services". Well I am not sure why that needs to go on my medical chart but I don't think just going through things without knowing what its going to cost is standard. Get your bathroom redone- you get a quote. Get a new car- you know the price. How nice it must be for this jacka** that he doesn't ever need to think about money, or planning. So glad I am changing.
