Ultrasound Results!!
Well, I had my ultrasound this afternoon. By my calculations I should be either 5 weeks 6 days, or possibly exactly 6 weeks.
I was measuring 6 weeks, 1 day and the babe had a heart rate of 116 bpm. That's a nice strong heartbeat for this far along. I'm so excited!!! It looks like this little babe is going to stick after all.
Oh, and my official dd is June 17th... they are going by my ultrasound results. Now off to make a preggy ticker!Laurie

The tech didn't say anything specific about the spotting, but maybe my midwives will get back to me about that. It started at 9dpo. I know it's not that uncommon for women to have a "mini period" right around when they would be due. I've heard stories about that anyway...

I did get a pic, but it really just looks like a blob! When she first zoomed in on the baby I could see right away that there was a "flicker" that I knew was the heartbeat. It's crazy how small the baby really is... the flicker took up half the baby!!

I'm 7 weeks and read on an app I have that the baby is the size of a blueberry! It's amazing!!!
