Ultrasound Results...

We have a baby!!!! YAY! Baby was measuring 7w0d (my dates say 7w2d) and had a nice strong heart rate of 148bpm. They put my due date at June 13 but I'm not changing it. Like they REALLY know. LOL.

Here's a picture. Not really the greatest unfortunately but I paid the $15 to have it anyways. LOL. My uterus is on the left and baby is the bottom blob.

Based on the dates the genetic counselor says my CVS should be on Nov 21 or 28th. Please please please be the 21st. The sooner the better!

I don't know. I doubt they'll change my due date. My midwife isn't super sticky on dates...I mean they never come that date anyways. Oh wait, do you mean the CVS date? DOH! LOL. Ummmm...the genetic counselor has to do a bunch of paperwork and submit it to get the appt date. She needs to get a copy of the u/s report too...so I don't know. We are in one city, she is in a second and the hospital that does the procedure is in a third. Confusing much? Blum 3

Things are weird with me since the u/s. I guess I don't REALLY feel PG most days...and it happened so fast this time that I was still in a bit of denial. The u/s yesterday sort of BANGED it all home. It really is real. Now I'm more nervous. LOL

I need to work on my patience. Sometimes one child gets the better of me. LOL. TWO? Eeeeeks! I don't know how stay-at-home moms do it.

Congrats! I'm nervous about two also. My son is such an easy, laid back kid.

Ya, at least my daughter will be almost 3.5 at the time. She will be at more of a helpful age I think than your daughter. Sad

I will also have two under 2! im a little nervous but it can be done. my sister had two in 13 months. her son just liked poking her daughters face so just kept her up unless we were holding her lol. he was very into pointing out eyes, noses, ears etc. he loves her and hugs her alot. soooo cute.

LOL... can't help chuckling about those of you who are nervous to add another... LOL...

:jumpingbeans: This is what I have at my house!! LOL Smile :-) Smile

Seriously though, you will all do fine! The pre-school years are really so much fun. Just love em, and then love em some more. YOu will all be surprised at how much more relaxed you are with the baby the next time around. It makes it easier to just enjoy them! Wink

LOL, honestly though...I couldn't do what you do! Some days 1 is more than enough for me. I guess some people are just made to be moms! I didn't think it would be as hard as it is. I think perspective is the hardest part of parenting...and not getting too wrapped up in the moment. I need to work on my patience...but I don't know how!

I totally get what you are saying. Sometimes patience is so hard when you have a toddler and infant. I had two that are 16 months apart. Not going to lie it was very hard but so rewarding. Many times what I did to gather my patience back was to walk away from my 2 screaming children and lock the bathroom door and just take a deep breath and gather myself. I have to do it at least once a week! My two very independent toddlers like to test my patience every day! Haha. And because of that I'm nervous to add a third. It's so hard to imagine the routine that we will have and nerve wracking but at this point I have been through this twice and know it will be ok Wink

I'll have an almost 4 year old, a 2.5 year old and a brand new infant. It will probably be insane! DS was not quite 18 months when DD was born. I actually had more patience then than I feel like I do now. A toddler and an infant were easier for me than two toddlers. So I'm a little worried to have two toddlers and an infant! Patience is also the part of parenting I find most difficult as well. I have totally done what Jackie says - walk away for 5 minutes and come back when I've calmed down a bit. I've also yelled more than I want to. *sigh* Sometimes I think I'm the worst mom ever. But then I remember that most of all my kids know I love them.

I hear ya girl. I'm not a yeller but I get frustrated and say things like "I can't deal with this right now"...which is just not kind at all. Then I immediately feel like poo.

I think we all say things that we are not the most proud of but we are only human. It's ok and it doesn't make you a bad mom. Just human. You ladies all sound like great moms. We will all be fine. Hecktic but fine Smile
