Yay preg.org is workings on the iPad! It's 8:11 pm we've been here since 3. Blood pressure has been ok since they started the induction. Looks like nothing is going to happen until tomorrow unless my water breaks on its own tonight or. The contractions pick up more than they are. Thinking of getting an ambien to sleep... They are letting me eat at the moment so I'm thankful for that...if this headache would just go away
I took sleeping meds with Lucas because I was only contracting mildly and seemed stuck at 4 (my water had broken on its own so I headed to the hospital a bit too early--I was excited!). Anyway, the sleeping pill relaxed my cervix or something and as soon as it kicked in, I had to push! It was a silly, weird, crazy fog. I laughed a lot during and after his birth. It wasn't a bad experience but just know sometimes those sleeping pills can relax baby right out!!!!
Do you have an epi? I was tired enough to sleep through most of the contractions without a sleep narcotic...just the epi. That said, I was (and still is), exhausted.
Hang in there Patience! I hope you are able to get some rest. I've heard some people love Ambien and some people not so much so I'd be hesitant to take it also.
