Uterus Olympics

Oh my word! Baby was CRAZY active last night...to the point of being weird. It was for almost 2 hours after dinner there was tapping and tickling, and it was strong! I swear I hardly felt baby move a couple days last week so I think he/she was in an odd position. He/she must have moved because there were fast and furious kicks (???) on my left side. I had DH put his hand there and he thinks he *may* have felt something. Not sure.

The weirdest part is that I didn't feel DD until 2 weeks after now...I can't believe I missed the early stuff with DD.

A friend thinks this is a boy because her son was way more active than her daughter. We'll see...

Anyone else have crazy movement going on?

Not so crazy, but definitely starting to feel kicks in the past few days. A couple really good ones here and there! I love finally feeling movement! Which is pretty much the exact same time I felt with DD. Although I don't have a boy to compare to, my DD was literally NUTS in the womb. I have videos where she looks like the scene from alien trying to escape. The video is 4 minutes long of non stop action (and that's only one in a series). At some points, my stomach literally jumps 6 inches into the air. I think I scared people out of having babies with it lol. So I don't think it has anything to do with gender!

How fun!

I can't really say whether or not I've felt baby yet. Certainly no Olympics!

Awesome! I still don't feel baby consistently, but have felt him/her from the outside twice now at night laying in bed! So exciting Yahoo But I have gone a few days between movements here and there still and will pull out the doppler to make sure things are okay (and have had baby kick RIGHT where I'm listening and about blow my ears out!).

For the record, my son was way crazier than my daughter too and would give me slightly painful kicks mid-3rd trimester (before he got too squished to practice his soccer skills). Still loved it though!

I haven't been feeling baby very consistently, so that has me a little worried. I thought I was feeling movement last night a lot, but it we just gas!

Aweeee, I wouldn't be too worried. It IS early after all. I think I read that they don't do kick counts until after 23 weeks or something. It also depends on placenta placement.

I'm fairly certain that the kicks aren't gender specific but rather temperament. DD wasn't SUPER crazy in-utero and is on the mellow side now (I say that as she's having a scream over DH doing her hair). She also never kept me up at night when I was pg and she's a good sleeper now.

I have been feeling movement a while now, but she is definatley been active lately. She is breech so now i know its her head on the top right and her feet on the bottom left lol. She like to head butt a lot and stretch... tho i havnt felt her this morning or last night after my bath which i accidentally made so hot i had to get out because i was dizzy. I wasn't paying attention. But on Thursday night she flipped twice!

LOL, that's how DD was till the bitter end. Her head was right under my right rib cage. Naughty breach girl.

I'm thinking this one is transverse right now as I'm feeling all the kicks on my left side and last night I felt at least on BONK on the right...as if he/she was jumping or something.

I have been feeling this baby for a while now too. But I also go some days where I only feel baby once or twice and others when the baby is crazy in there. Fun stuff! I'm starting to get excited to really feel the big movements!

Yesterday and today I have been feeling more movement! It actually feels like baby is rolling or something. I am excited for when the kids can feel the baby move. Even now, DS will lay his head on my ribs and he thinks they are the baby's head!

Oh yes.. I've had a future gymnast for the past few weeks.. at 17 weeks exactly baby was all over the place. Now movements and kicks are much stronger, I love it Smile

I think baby turned again because he/she is quieter these days. Aweeeeee....

Mine is never consistently kicking in the same place. I have to chase it now with the doppler so I'm guessing it's doing somersaults in there while it still has room Wink

So much fun!! I'm still waiting to feel mine. I have only ever felt one before 16 weeks. All my others have been 17 weeks or later...

Nothing here...hoping to feel baby soon. I haven't expected to feel anything yet though, haven't felt my other two super early either. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks.
