The city I used to live in is having a snow day today - school buses aren't running. Which is REALLY odd for the Canadian prairies. We NEVER have snow days, our kids still go to school in blizzards!
But where we are living now we just have our regular amount of snow - which, granted, is probably way more than any of you guys ever get LOL.

Sandra: how much snow do you guys have?? We got about 8" at my house so our schools around here are still open, but maybe 15-20 miles north of me, they got over a foot and have some school closures. Schools rarely get closed here too.
My silly snow blower decided to overheat because it has a hard time with over 6" of snow so I have half of my driveway done  and lost all my free time where the kids were occupied with their morning show. So now I'll probably have to wait until lunch to finish unless I want to deal with putting them in their snow gear and taking them outside...DS still gets overwhelmed by all the bulk and gets sick of it pretty fast so it's often more effort than it's worth with him.

8 inches of snow and your schools are still open? Wow. If we even get an inch, the schools all close and there's people all over the side of the road. No one knows how to drive in the snow around here, I can't imagine getting 8 inches!

We get snow days here...but then, we live on the coast. People around here just can't take it. I don't get a snow day from work though so I have to work with DD home. Awesome!!!
We had snow here the other day but today it's COLD and clear. SO sunny!

Radians are fantastic. You will love having them! And for $100? Grab them!!! My very tall 7yo still fits in hers. We have Radians in one vehicle and in the other a Britax booster for Tori, Lucas has a Britax Frontier. He still uses it in five point for now.
I'm anxious for more gender announcements. When will Sandra be back????

Just went outside and snapped a picture for you guys of my front lawn :)

Really, the lawn is only about knee high, but shoveling the driveway gives you a nice waist high bank! My family back in Saskatchewan is battling waist high drifts in their blizzard right now. Everyone around here is pretty used to that LOL.

Wow, I can't imagine drifts like that! With no open space we don't get drifts here really. Just thick fluff.
