Weekend plans?

What is everyone up to this weekend? Sitting around hoping for labor? Staying busy to keep your mind off of it? Stalking this group to see who has the next baby? Smile

Compared to the last few weekends, I'm going to be pretty relaxed. The boys are going out tonight so Tori and I are going to rent a movie and eat junk. Smile Lucas has soccer in the morning. I plan to sleep most of the day so we can do the drive in at night (it doesn't get dark here until crazy late so the first movie doesn't start until close to ten). Sunday is my last week to go to regular church before I take on my summer duties as a teacher for the little kiddos. Sunday afternoon I have to go to a funeral (never actually met the person but a relative of a goo friend and she needs the support). For me, that's pretty laid back. Smile

Going to try to see a movie tonight with a girlfriend and tommorrow is DS last soccer game.

Rest of saturday I am going to try to get some cleaning done, but slowly. Vacumming stairs, kitchen floor, the stuff I tend to overlook. Laundry too. My goal is to keep up on everything thing so we don't come home to a messy house with a newborn.

SUnday is at my MIL's because she is leaving on the 5th for Europe and is so worried I will have this baby while she is gone.

No big plans here. We had soccer tickets for Saturday but sold them just in case so likely a weekend of cleaning and mentally willing this baby out (haha). Maybe I can talk DH into taking the kids swimming at the in-laws house to relieve some of the pressure on my lower half Smile DH has a lot going on with work right now so I'll be lucky if I see him long enough this weekend to accomplish that.

We are going to go climb a mini mountain and try and get this baby out!! Petroglyph monument (or something like that??). Climbing around for an hour or two should help, right?!

We are going home today, so we will be trying to survive our first few days back at home! Tonight we are going to have an ice cream cake and just a few family members over to celebrate big brother's birthday! Thankfully I got the cake aftery last doctor's appointment, so it is sitting in the freezer at home.

Ahh! I'm sure big brother is excited for cake and to bring his brother home! Get some rest too for you

Today I took my vacuum into the shop because it broke last night. Thankfully it is an easy fix and will be ready by noon. Then the kids and I went to the Carter's store and bought a coming home outfit for new baby Smile

Tomorrow my big kids have swimming lessons in the morning, and our church is having a pool party in the afternoon, so lots of swimming! I will probably try and squeeze into my maternity swim suit and enjoy the water!

Sunday is church as usual, and I'll be spending the weekend cleaning as usual. I wish I could get it to a clean state that will REMAIN for longer than 3 hours!

Going to MILs house to do laundry tomorrow, and will take DS to the Home Depot build tomorrow morning, and maybe wander around the mall trying to get labor going (but only on saturday or early sunday after that she has to stay in until next weekend atleast...)

You're crazy and insane. Ok, perhaps I'm just jealous of your energy and strength. Blum 3 Good luck with the hike!

YAY for going home! I hope it's a smooth transition and I'm glad you're home in time for some birthday celebration! Way to plan ahead! I've ordered DH's father's day gifts 'just in case' as I don't want to be left empty handed if baby comes the day before!

We don't have much planned. We're trying, again, for maternity photos tonight. I hope the weather behaves. 3rd time lucky? Then tomorrow night is a mommy friend's 30th birthday party at the pub near our house. I was a 'maybe' but now I've said I'm going. Who knows if I really AM going.

That's about all we have planned. I have lots I SHOULD accomplish but we'll see how that all goes. LOL. OH, and that hospital bag, I should do that...right? Blum 3

I went swimming today with DD, it's not outdoor swimming (which would be great today it's so hot) but it's private, so I don't have to worry about maternity swimwear which is awesome Smile

Have to finish up organizing toys in the family room to make room for some new ones, and also for the baby gear that I'm sure will get here. Right now they're just all on the floor since I stopped in the middle... oops.

Sunday we're going to try to make it to the organic farmer's market to pick up some vegetable plants to plant in the garden. Nice and easy weekend here.

And lurking for babies, and hoping for labor (even though m/w isn't on call).
