Weekend QOTD (3/2-3/3)

What kind of a car seat do you plan to use for this baby? If you've used this seat previously, what do you like and dislike about it?

I have a Baby Trend Flex-Loc already that I've used for my other two as well (luckily it doesn't expire until this baby is 8 months, and then I'll just move him to the RF convertible). Overall I really like it - it's fairly narrow and the base has a really smooth LATCH system that I can get super tight in like 20 seconds. Plus it just feels really solid. The only things I dislike about it are that it's super heavy compared to most (~20 lbs!) and a lot of people struggle with the "puzzle block" clip (doesn't bother me, but obviously you use it enough, you get used to it).

I have a chicco key fit 30 I used with dd. love everything abt it, tho ppl complain its heavy at 16lbs. I love the base too, the bubble levels and latch system are so easy to use correctly even if I'm not there to help Smile

Probably the Graco Snugride, but I am not really sure. My father said he would buy the carseat, but he can be flaky sometimes, if he doesn't then I am getting one of my sisters Complete Air from Safety First (her son has just about grown out of it, and its only a year or so old.)

I have a Graco Snugride 35. We got it new last year after a car accident. DS2 is still in it. When spring comes I will put him in the convertible and get the infant one ready for DS3. I have never used the Snugride 35 with a brand new infant - it is a lot heavier than our old Snugride 22, but I'm sure I'll manage. I'll be wearing baby in a wrap a lot anyways this summer, not toting him around in the seat.

Ditto
Love it, but it is a little heavy. We will be using it again though. I just picked up an extra base at a consignment sale and that will help whn DD is in someone else's car.

We have the graco snug ride 30. I like it and used it for both the other kids but it is quite heavy.
