Since I'm out of town for work, I'm not really sure. But, like you, I tend to gain later on. Not so much in the first trimester. I will see when I get home, but I think I'm about the same so far.

Ohhh I don't know. I know my starting weight and my midwife isn't concerned, so unless she really thinks it's necessary I think I will avoid the scale this pregnancy too. I did last time and it was okay. We estimated I gained about 35 pounds, which I think was a lot. I lost 33 of it before getting pregnant again. So hopefully I keep it around 20-25 this time?? I dunno, I just ate a ton of Halloween candy. Haha.

Yup, I know. All the babies in my biological family have been in the 6-7 lb range, actually that is fairly accurate of my adoptive family as well. All 4 of my biological mom's babies were just over 5lbs.

LMAO, so cute! 35 lbs is a LOT? Ummmm....nope. Actually, my midwife told me last visit that they like to see you at 35 max. I'm sure I was well over 45 lbs and I know people who put on 70-100lbs. Not ideal, but 35 lbs is definitely not a lot. I don't know what your midwive is like but mine tends to not say anything about things like weight...even if she THINKS you should ease up on the weight. She seems to be more of a 'say less and just observe' type of person. It's nice in a way but I found with my first pg I had to ask a LOT of questions to find out stuff that I wanted to know...DH and I are scientist types and love facts.

I never lost weight after DS. still had 10 lbs to go! I am short. 5'3" (bc I round up) and before this preg I was down to 135-138. It fluctuated almost daily but didnt go over 138 or under 135. I think my scale here is off though bc I weighed 135 by my scale and when I went to the dr they tol dme 133. As of right now, by my scale I am 138 (after a huge dinner.) I usually weigh myself in the morning.. this mornign I Was 135 still. SO I am taking that as no weight gain yet! WHOOHOOO. However I gained more later on. with DS I gained 60lbs. praying I dont put on that much this time! I was pushing 200 and Im only 5'3"!!
