Well all right....

I got my lady bits all shaved perdy and I'm ready to go! Of course, baby will be late...but at least I'm ready for my GBS swab tomorrow, right? Blum 3

Now that my c-sect scar is stretched again it looks a little crooked. Perhaps the OB had a shaky hand that day? Blum 3

Lol. Could just be the way the bellies have grown differently

Me too...but then again, mine are always trimmed down and "ready to go" ROFL I think it's easier to maintain than to let it go and try to tackle that beast!

Funny about your c-section scar. I bet it was straight that day when baby was stretched out just so.

GL at your swab!

lol!
It funny how bellies grow. I have a small tattoo above my pelvic bone that didn't move with DS, but looks distorted now. I'll snap a pic of it because it's a taurus symbol and now looks like one normal horn and one really, really long horn on my belly.

Have a great appointment! Whats a GBS?

I've been trying to keep trim, but I can't see or really reach much so its probably pretty hysterical right now.

I normally try to keep on top of things but since I can't SEE down there now, it's hard to do! LOL

Yeah, DH asked me today if I wanted him to trim some of the growth off of mine! I had to get a mirror to even see what it looked like, it wasn't terrible, but I may let him give it a trim...

LOL, I did a "blind shave" down there the other day. I have no idea how it all turned out?!?! Interesting about the scar (and the tattoo Noelle). I've had a belly tattoo that has been there for all of my pregnancies, and it handles all the stretching and growing really well thankfully. Every pregnancy I get asked if I had it done recently, because it doesn't look like its even been through one pregnancy. I must have some "elastic skin" genetics or something... very thankful for that! Anyway, even if things do get distorted during pregnancy, they usually return to normal afterward.

Mine offered to help too, with a perverted smile on his face. "Don't worry honey, I've got this!" I said. Blum 3

Laurie - Mine was a bit of a blind trim last time too! This time I did some blind trimming, then used a hand mirror to see my progress. I'm sure it's not perfect but better at least! I hear ya on the elastic skin. Mine does well with stretching too! I have stretch marks on my hips from when I was much younger...but my belly fared well last pregnancy. The ONLY stretch mark I got last time was less than 1" long and was beside my belly ring hole. Had I not had the piercing, I would have been fine. I hope I make it out of this pregnancy ok too. I haven't used any belly cream this time. Eeeeps!

CRAP! Sad Do they mostly come when you're deflating? After baby is born?

Ditto. Mine would look at me like this if I asked him --->

AFA stretch marks, I have yet to see any new ones this pregnancy. My first, I got them all over the sides of my butt and undersides of my breasts, but none on my stomach. With #2, I got ONE new one right at the top of my belly button where a ring would go if I had had one (random, right?). And I didn't get it until my last week  so I'm not out in the clear yet. My mom gained over 90 lbs when she was pregnant with me and only got a handful on her hips so I guess I have fairly stretchy skin genetically (?).

As u can see by my one bare belly pic I am very prone to stretch marks. I had them on my hips b4 high school from a growth spurt even. I had one kid ask why I had spider webs on my belly when I was prego with elora, lol. Just something I'm used to now I guess, I have them everywhere, boobs, hips, legs, belly, arms, everywhere.

I had no stretch marks first pregnancy, got some with my second, and noticed a new area a couple of days ago. Not too bad though.

I think my boys just stretch me so friggin' big that I couldn't escape them. But even with DD, I didn't really have ANY, until afterwards I noticed I got a couple on each side (love handle area). Now I have them all across my belly from hip to hip. None on my thighs or boobs though.

stretch marks are genetically inclined right?

I didn't have any from DS, but he was early. So far so good with this little one, but it's still early.

Now I do have some on my hips and boobies from weight gain and loss over the years, but they are not terrible.

They do fade as the years go on. The ones on my breasts are almost 20 years old and barely noticeable anymore.
