I just called my doc's office to get in for bloodwork and was on their website to look up the number. I was browsing through the FAQ's...just because I don't have enough to do I guess...but anyway this was one of the FAQ's and the answer I found particularly amusing.
27 days!?! Really?Q. How long after intercourse should I use a pregnancy test?
A. Home pregnancy tests are most accurate about 27 days after conception. This is when a menstrual period is 10 -12 days late. Newer pregnancy tests say you can use them one day after a missed period. If you suspect you are pregnant even though a home pregnancy test is negative, you should have an exam by a doctor.
Yeah right! Bwahhahhaaa
that is the sort of information that would make me choose another doctor.
Sheez, have they met us? Clearly not!!
I'm surprised it's not like, "Skip the pregnancy test. If a baby arrives 40 weeks later, you were pregnant. Congratulations!"
