I would be concerned about all of that too - hopefully there will be more testing, etc if this month doesn't work out for you.

Did she do a trigger without even an U/S??

Not so sure I like that approach...... (as someone who has been through pretty much everything Clomid, injectibles, IUIs, 1 round of IVF - I found an amazing RE who is more about finding the right answer for you, then just trying what works for others - I love that guy, and at 42 am currently 9 weeks pregnant - my 3rd (successful, 4th actual) pregnancy since I was told by my 1st RE that donor eggs and IVF were my only option...... and all of those were natural conceptions)

Did the OB that gave you Clomid do any testing? Or just jump to Clomid?

I've been TTC for the same amount of time (I'm worried about age gap as well, my DS is 3 next week). My GP was useless and when I got another GP to refer me to the fertility clinic he looked at hubby's SA and my charts said everything was fine and sent us for IUI. Just waiting for the timing to be able to work to get those done. I think once you start getting into fertility treatments they are agressive.

The anxiety of TTC does not get any easier, no matter how many children you have. We are hitting 4.5 years now of trying off an on for number 2 (only stopping for medical reasons).
We have had different Dr's push us into different things, one in particular we stopped seeing because he was darn pushy. (we called him the used car sales man of the IVF world.) When going back we set a plan of what we are comfortable with and how we can maximise our chances. Go with your gut if it does not feel right don't do it.
