Does anyone know if you have to be eating the foods that you'll be tested for?
I'm thinking of completely stopping dairy with Maria (her eczema is really bad) but she has her allergy tests in a month.
With gluten allergy testing you have to have it in your system but I'm not sure if that's the same for all food?

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to keep on eating dairy before testing. It's a blood test that detects antibodies so I'd assume you'd need to keep eating dairy in order to produce antibodies that the test detects. IDK about other food.
Hmm, I thought it wouldn't matter. But if I'm wrong about that, it would explain why A tested negative for dairy allergy.
(And again, our girls are so similar! A had another episode this week where she was completely broken out all around her neck and diaper area - the worst rash I've seen on her - plus eczema on her arms. I don't remember giving her any dairy, but we did spend a lot of time at my sister's house and her cousin eats a ton of dairy - so it's highly possible she snuck some when we weren't looking.)
