    Default Halloween

What are your little ones going to be for Halloween? Did you let them pick or did you pick? Are you taking them trick or treating or letting them hand out candy?

Miles wants to be Thomas. I have no idea how I'm going to make a costume like that (saw some things online though). I know they have them in the stores, but I wanted to do something a little nicer for him. I'm trying to talk him into a dinosaur (which he also loves, he's a great roarer), but its not going that well! lol We'll go trick or treating, but I'm not sure how long I will last...I have my csect scheduled for 10/21!

Sofia is going to be Belle for Beauty and the Beast. It is her favorite movie and she picked out her costume. I am going to take them trick or treating in my friends neighborhood.

They have a lot of trick or treating in the stores here during the day. Last year I took Corinna for that for an hour or so and my husband took her out to three or four houses at night while I answered the door for trick or treaters (and she got to help with that, too). This year, I'm sure she will have more stamina and I won't (since I'm 7.5 months pregnant) so we'll see how it goes.

We have a nice warm Tigger costume that she loves, but I was thinking of getting her something else.

When I went to the store to pick something out, she was not in the mood and was saying No to everything and refused to try anything on (then got scared when little boy in a dinosaur costume "roar"ed at her).

We have our "Time with Twos" mother & child class that day and we've all decided to have our kids in costumes, but I think the Tigger costume would get too hot for her.

Maybe I'll just get her some fairy wings or maybe I could find a white dress and make her a bride costume...

Joey is going to be a Lion. I picked it out since I think this may be the last year I can get away with something cute. He also does a great Roar!!! Only problem is that he doesn't like wearing the headress part. We keep trying it on so maybe by halloween he will be used to it. I think we are going trick or treating. I'm not sure yet how many trick or treaters we will get at our new house.

So is Mary! She picked it. They have masks at school and she is always the lion b/c she likes to roar. I got really lucky and found a lion costume for just $3 at a consignment sale . It's a little small.... but the feet are cut out so I'll just put her in brown tights or something.

Ethan is going to be a monster. he keeps trying it on for 10 minutes then wants it off, so not sure how the Halloween party or trick or treating is going to go! LOL. I do have a Halloween long sleve shirt that I am going to put on under in case he won't wear the costume for very long.

Izzie's going to be a monkey (she decided this - after many weeks of insisting she was going to be a snowman and I was panicking a bit trying to figure out how we were going to pull that off, haha. Then she saw the monkey costume at target and that changed her mind). Max is going to wear Izzie's pumpkin costume from last year.

We're going to go trick-or-treating. Last year Iz made it up and down a whole street and was a bit Lstranger shy". I'm interested to see how she's going to do this. Max is just going to go along for the ride (in the stroller).

Isabella is going to be a princess. I had planned to dress her up as a cat since I could do the whole outfit for less than $10, but she informed me "No, I a pincess". I found a cute tutu set on etsy for not much and it comes with fairy wings and a headpiece. I figure we will also use this for some pictures later. And if I'm having another girl she can wear it too one year! Isabella is so girly I may never get the costume off her though.

I don't mean to get too off-topic or to hijack the thread, but I just wanted to share that after seeing you say that Isabella said "no, I a princess" - Izzie calls herself "Izziebelle princess" haha. If anyone asks her what her name is that is how she responds.
