Thread: Leah's 2yr Well Visit

Leah is 22 1/2 lbs and is only like 32inches tall. She is in the 5th percentile for weight but I'm happy to see she gained weight, she was still only like 19lbs at 18months. As for height and head she is 25%. They say she will just be petite but may shoot up in height. Was told to not give her too much milk because they want her to eat more. I was told to try V8 or boost. Also to give her veggies and meat for dinner. They are hoping if she gets hungry enough, she'll eat it......not really loving this idea. While checking her ears they found she has an ear infection, I was shocked. So she has to go back in 4 weeks to check. Other then that, she is right on target and striving.

Sounds like she's doing great, except for the ear infection. Hope that clears up soon and doesn't cause her too much grief.

Isn't it strange that she has an ear infection and she wasn't even complaining about it!! Hope it clears up okay!!

If they are drinking too much milk or juice they will get full and not eat other food. Hope you can figure something out!

WOW, exactly like Miles (except for the ear infection hopefully she gets better). We cut down his milk and switched to 2% only 2 sippy cups a day and it really seemed to work so far! GL!
