Did anyone have PUPPs on our board? I don't remember that anyone did, but I thought I'd ask. I have it, and I'm in agony, and I'm desperate for some relief. I got a script today for a non-drowsy antihistamine but I'm not going to take it until tonight just in case it does make me sleepy, since I'm alone with Zoey. She'll also call in a script for a steroid cream if the pill doesn't help me. I swear this pregnancy is going to make me lose my mind. Thank goodness a cute little baby comes at the end of it!
If it's a non drowsy a/histamine, it truly is non-drowsy, April. The drowsy ones are all the older ones - Chlor-Tripolon, Benadryl etc. Claritin, Reactine, Aerius etc are all different formulations and do not cause drowsiness. But for itch, you'll find its the older ones that are more effective. Which one did your dr give you?
I took Benadryl last night and it made me loopy but I was still itchy. So I'm not really hopeful about the medication. Especially if this one doesn't work as effectively. I'm super, super sensitive to any cold/allergy medicine and they make me feel funny even when they're not supposed to, so that's a huge reason I'm waiting to take it until tonight.

Ultimately, I'm not holding my breath that the meds will work.
I don't have any experience with it but just wanted to offer some ... you're SO close, it won't be long now!!
