Thread: TP: What do you do with the poop?

DD pooped on the potty last night - yay! She likes the little potty becuse it's more comfortable. It has the insert that you pull out to dump into the toilet (it's the Bjorn). But I'm a little stuck with what I'm supposed to do after that. How do you guys clean/sanatize the potty after each use?

I use Lysol wipes quite a bit - quick and easy. For a thorough sanitizing after I wash it I put hot water with a couple tablespoons of bleach in it and let it sit in the sink for a bit.

I just rinse it out after each use, and then it gets a thorough clean when we clean the rest of the bathroom. If there is any residue after the rinse, I use a wipe.

I'm just wierded out about rinsing poop in the sink or even the tub. I guess there is nothing else that can be done.

What about using sink water, but pouring it into the toilet? Just an idea...

We have a diaper sprayer attached to the toilet...
