Default What happened to nap time???!!

Moriah doesn't nap for more than 40 minutes these days. It takes her about an hour to fall asleep, too. This has been the trend for about 2 weeks now.

I really hope this doesn't mean naptime is ending!!!!!!!

Oh man! I don't know what I would do without nap time! DS gets super cranky without one...the kid is a sleeper! Does she get cranky throughout the day without one??

Corinna hasn't been napping consistently since she figured out it's fun to climb out of the crib in May. There's a bed next to the crib, so it's not dangerous.

Sometimes we just let her play quietly (or noisily) in her room.

She definitely needs the nap, though, she gets hyper without one and sometimes cranky, too. We usually put her to bed earlier when she hasn't napped.

At least, if you think back, they don't demand as much constant attention as they used to. Corinna can actually concentrate on playing by herself sometimes, which gives me a lot more time for myself or to get things done.

She does get very crabby or whiny and tends to pick fights with her sister a lot too. We have been just putting her down earlier in the evening.

It is SOOOO hard to accomplish things like laundry or even get dinner started during the day when she doesn't nap/

Oh my goodness-Aimeelynne you are 30 weeks already!!!!!!!!!!

Did you find out if Miles will have a brother or sister? I can't remember.

Victoria is hit or miss whether or not she'll nap. If she skips her nap, she fussy and clingy, making it hard for me to get anything done. I usually try and get her down for about an hour right after lunch. If she goes down anytime after 2:00, then she doesn't go to sleep at bedtime. So, if she hasn't fallen asleep by then, I try to keep her from falling asleep, regardless of how grumpy she is.
It is so frustrating when they still need a nap, and yet they won't take it!

The oldest twin still likes to nap for at least an hour most days. The other twin, and Ana only nap on occasion. Makes sense for the 3+ year old kid. I can't believe Ana refuses to nap most days though. I REALLY miss my down time.

Miles is just like her! Except he doesn't have a sister to pick on (yet), just the dog! lol. He didn't nap yesterday, started to get cranky around 5:45 then passed out at 6pm in my arms while watching a movie.
30weeks...crazy right?!?!? You've only got 5w left!!!! The woman said she was 95%sure its a girl! Super excited about that, and I hope she actually is a girl!

Leah is a hit or miss with the morning nap but she really needs the afternoon one. She gets super cranky if not taken and will fight it if not at home. I enjoy my down time, my 4yr old will fall asleep in the afternoon too sometimes.....so nice.
