I'm Pamela, a home daycare provider,Dh: Tanner, he's active duty Army. We got pregnant with DS, Jacob, when DH got back from his deployment back in February 2009. We got pregnant with Baby#2 on his Rest and Relaxation (R/R) break during THIS deployment in October Smile both our babies will have a fun "deployment" story haha! We have been blessed with easy fertility and hopefully God will now bless me with an easy pregnancy (or at least easier than DS's!). Dh and I have been married since August 2007 and have quite the "history". We are both super excited for baby#2 and can't quite decide if we'll be done after this one! Just in case, I'm making sure I document anything!

Since I never got the chance to do this with DS I wanted to do it now Smile So anyway, excuse my smudges but there are two tests starting on Sunday 10/24 until Friday 10/29 (I skipped Thursday, whooops!)

"Check Up" ultrasound: November 2nd= Due to my early spotting with this pregnancy I'm going in for an ultrasound just to ensure everything is where it should be Smile First HCG draw: Nov.1 was at 2,002 Yahoo great number Smile Hopefully we'll be able to see something in the uterus. Update: We did see something in uterus! Smile We saw one sac with a nice yolk sac! There might be two sacs, Dr. just couldn't tell. So I have a follow up on Tuesday the 9th to confirm or deny twins...
First Appointment: November 9th @ 2PM= First OB appointment/Health physical: The health woman decided that because of my past history she felt it best that I see an actual Doctor rather than my most favorite MW! So I have my first appointment set with a doctor and they will review my cardiac history and decide if I'm okay to see a midwife.. oh I hope so!!
Ultrasound:2nd Ultrasound shows sac with "fuzz" in it.. still no HB. I have myself at 5w5d DR has me at 6w5d so they are saying there should be a heartbeat. Follow up next Wednesday
Emergency Ultrasound: Woke up 11/13 with bright red blood, went to ER. HCG draw= 53,000! And, we have a heartbeat!! YAY!! Still to follow up on wednesday (pictures maybe!??)
Follow up ultrasound: 11/17Today I SAW the HB Smile YAY! I did get a picture of our bean, although it's not wonderful-- the machines in the office aren't so great.
First 'real' appointment: December 15 @ 3:20= Great appointment. We saw baby, HB was 154. My BP is a little high, 118/84-- and they are putting me high risk Sad I'm not super happy about that. My next appointment will be for 4 weeks out and we've got all kinds of fun stuff at that point and I will also get the go-ahead for my next ultrasound- gender! yay!
January 4th: Emergency walk-inI woke up the morning of the 4th bleeding pretty bad from down yonder. Naturally had me come in and did an ultrasound. On that ultrasound, we saw that my placenta is starting to tear away from my uterus. It's small so that's good. This is usually something that happens later in the 2nd trimester or 3rd. We're hoping that it will heal itself but we'll see what happens at my next appointment; it's just NEVER easy.. Sad BP was: 134/89 and my HB was high also: 124 BPM. Babies HB was about 165 BPM!
Next Appointment: January 12th @ 2:00 pm= Nothing fun here. Doctor didn't seem too concerned with the whole tear thing but ordered a bunch of stuff to get more details on it. BP was 130/76 Yahoo baby had a nice strong heart rate although I wasn't given a number Sad
Ultrasound: Januray 31st @ 1:45 pm: Well, as figured I got to "hear" nothing, but I got to SEE the baby. Smile Based off what I saw between the legs, my vote goes to GIRL but we'll find out in two weeks for sure, so they weren't telling me anything. My gut still says boy so we'll see... Baby was measuring 17w6d and 8 ounces! We saw the baby moving everywhere and opening and closing its mouth Smile Very cute! I will get the results about the tear on the 7th, but I did notice the pocket of blood is still there, so we'll see what the doctor says! HB was 158 BPM
Next Appointment: February 7th @ 2:20 pm Regular OB: Today was good and boring! My BP was GREAT at 130/73 :yahoo:- Doctor said it was great but because of my history he wanted to put me on the two week plan after my next appointment. My HB was 93 so that's good too! All in all, not bad! Proteins came back at 103 so that's a nice baseline number. My weight is at 160.0lbs. (thanks superbowl!) So far, half way in, I have a gain of about 4 pounds. Not too shabby considering I had not one day of actual vomiting. Doctor said the radiologist isn't concerned about the pocket of blood. It's contained, and we're green light from here on out. I have my 20 weeks scan next week and they'll rescan it then also. But at this point, everything seems to be going "good". I'm trying not to get cocky about it because I'm so afraid it's going to just take a turn for the worse like it did with DS. I will say this: I am happy about the doctor being proactive with my blood pressures and even though they "look" good (best two I've had since we started this pregnancy) he still doesn't want to give me the golden seal of "normal" quite yet. So that's good; makes me feel as though I'm in better hands this time than with DS.
Next Ultrasound: 2/15/11: Gender scan!!! This was a great ultrasound. Baby looked well, measured well ( I don't remember everything..) but it is officially a girl Smile 100% Let the pink begin! Smile
Next Appointment: March 4th @ 3:20 Regular OBUpdate: So I went to the appointment, i'm up 4 pounds from my last appointment, 4 week ago Doctor didn't care, but I wasn't thrilled.. I talked to him about what my cardio said and he said no problem. He'd put the referral in so I could see the specialist. Basically what will happen is I will have a consult with them, ultrasound and what not and they will decide what they think is best. My OB feels that since I'm not crazy highrisk or anything they'll let me continue my pre-natal care where I've been going () and they will just suggest more appointments, more ultrasounds, more blood work, NST stuff- basically everything I did with DS anyway. My blood pressure today was only 125/68 THAT IS WONDERFUL. OB said that this is what's supposed to happen your BP's are supposed to "drop" in the second trimester now the trick will be keeping them there. BUT, with DS we NEVER had a drop, EVER. So that's a great sign so far. He doesn't feel that I'm quite out of the woods yet because of my history, but he's positive that it might not end up being AS serious as DS's pregnancy was. He didn't put me to the 2 weeks yet because he wanted me to get in with the FMS first before I came back to see him. At my next appointment with the OB i'll be about 26.5 weeks and we will discuss what they FMS said and at that point we'll go over when to schedule my GD test. Oh joy. So anyway, all in all, things looked nice!
FMS ultrasound: March 21st @ 1 pm Got to see little miss! Smile Even got some lovely 3d images! She was measuring in the 30th% for weight/height. Fluids and everything looked good, from what I remember Smile
OB Appointment: April 6th @ 1:20 pm BP: 118/81,my HB 121, Her HB was 158 and I'm measuring 27 weeks exactly Smile weight +8 pounds since last appointment  SAME thing happened with DS about this time, except he was 11 pounds in 4 weeks... I didn't want to follow this pattern. Other than that everything looked good and I go back in 3 weeks.
FMS appointment: April 5th @ 1 pm FMS DR says no reason in her eyes to see them, as long as my regular OB keeps a close eye on me... arrrrg.
Next OB Appointment: April 27th @ 8:00 amI went in for a 30 week OB appointment and I had to see a different doctor than I normally do and he's acting like I'm peachy keen. They've been watching me "high risk" and keeping an eye on my BP's b/c of Jacob's crazy pregnancy and today'...s reading was one of the highest I've had since I've been pregnant and the doctor goes "Oh your blood pressure looks great.." UM what!? So he puts my next appointment out for 4 weeks. By this point with Jacob I was being seen every two and by 34 weeks with him I was going 3x's A WEEK to be seen (36 I was in the hospital and 37 I had a baby!). One minute I'm dying according to them and now the next minute I'm totally healthy. I just feel like NO ONE there is on the same page. I've gained nearly 25 pounds already (20 of it all in the last 8 weeks) and I'm measuring SMALL and the guy wasn't even slightly worried as to where this "weight" could be going (hellllllllllllllo water weight gain!--- SAME EXACT THING that happened with Jacob..) I'm just so frustrated. I've been asking to see a midwife this entire pregnancy but my doctor has been saying that he's not thrilled where my BP's sit so he'd feel more comfortable keeping me high risk and letting me be seen by a doctor... well then why in the world are you acting like this is all fine!?! I'm just annoyed. I feel like I'm being 'brushed off'. I have a growth scan ultrasound on Monday and I will be calling the doctor Tuesday for the results, rather than waiting, and at that point I will discuss with him my concerns about being brushed off. My BP: 130/90, HB: 144.. DD HB: 156, measuring 29 weeks. Consider me beyond pissed. I'm so sick of this sh**.
Next ultrasound: May 2nd @ 2:45 pm: growth scan
Next OB appointment: May 25th @ 5:40 PM Oh this appointment sucked. I got a BP reading of 140/105. SOO, per Doc's orders, I'm starting with NST 2x's a week. Loverly, let the fun begin!
NST: May 27th @ 9 am Ultrasound went well, fluids are good. BP's seem 'okay' when lying down..
NST: May 30th @ 9 am Urine came back at 114, not too bad! Bp's still look okay. Blood work came back good..
NST: June 3rd @ 9 am OB following Nst was okay, fluids still good, 14's. OB checked okay, got all my paperwork for registration. Doctor checked me and I'm dilated to 2! THIS IS GREAT-- I know this doesn't mean anything, but since with DS I have NO dilation on my own this is HUGGGGGE for me, progress, progress, progress!!!
NST: June 7th @ 9 am BOO. urine came back at 270! BAD BAD BAD. BP's are still 'okay' so no one is freaking out yet. I got all my registration paperwork done. I am now on strict orders that if I have ANY symptoms of pre-e to come right back to L&D to get checked.. we'll see what Friday brings..
NST: June 10th @9 am NST nurses keep talking "hospital bed rest" due to my proteins. Ultrasound looked good, fluids at 14. Bp's fall into normal ranges while I"m resting, so I'm sent home Smile
NST: June 14th @10 am Urine came back at 187, BP's did not drop though Sad Blood work came back anemic no fun!
Next OB appointment: June 14th @ 11:20 am: 37 weeks! Still 2 cm dilated Sad no progress there.. DR won't induce yet, not "sick" enough yet. Lots of cramping after getting checked, nothing regular. BP's in OB were 150/102 and 150/92. Not good. At this point, doctor still isn't worried. Set induction date so as long as I can keep baby cooking that long that's where we're set!
NST: June 17th @ 9 am
NST: June 21st @ 9 am
Next OB appointment: June 22nd @ 6:40 pm: 38 weeks
NST: June 24th @ 9 am
INDUCTION: June 26th!!!!!!!!
NST: June 28th @ 9 am
Next OB appointment : June 30th @ 6:40 pm: 39 weeks--- setting induction date!

DH, Dave, and I have been married since 2001 - that will be 10 years the month this baby is due. Our first child, Andrea, was a surprise. She is such a blessing. For 3 years, Dave insisted that he was done having kids. Magically, just before Andrea's third birthday, he changed his mind and we made arrangements to start trying for number 2! It was 7 cycles before we saw that precious BFP in June 2011. Unfortunately, I miscarried that baby. After 1 A/F, we started trying again with an immediate BFP!
EDD: July 12th, 2011

pregnancy calendar

 BabyFruit Ticker

BFP: Halloween!

First ultrasound: December 1st - Everything went great. Heartrate was 171.

First appointment: December 6th, 2pm - went great, just basics

ER Visit: December 17th
After a morning of cleaning and cooking, I was resting on the bed and could feel wet discharge. At first, I thought I was imaginging it, but it continued so I got up to go to the bathroom. My undwear and pants were soaked with fresh blood. I cried and cried. After a while I noticed some decent menstral-type cramping. DH took DD away for me and I decided to go to the ER. I had always said that that the ER is kind of waste of time/money. They can tell you how baby is doing but that is pretty much the limit and the $2000 it cost us with last m/c was still fresh in my mind. BUT, my deductible was already covered so I figured I could afford the 20% coinsurance this time to have the peace of mind of knowing how the baby was. After the recent miscarriage in August, I really believed this was another one. After hours of laying alone in the hospital, the doctor finally wheeled in the portable u/s! The first thing he said as he started was "and there is the fetal pole". I was kind of in shock. I wanted to start balling but held back for the poor male doctor's sake. Everything looked okay on the small u/s but they sent me for a big one. The ultrasound tech confirmed the baby was looking great and measuring wonderfully. Heartrate was 171bpm. Baby was dancing and wiggling around like crazy. There were no obvious reasons for the bleeding on the u/s (hardly ever is, right?) I was discharged pretty quickly after that. I'm really thankful I went to the ER. I honestly would have spent the weekend believing it was another m/c.

14 Weeks: January 11, 2011
I'm still spotting, although it has decreased slightly. Morning sickness is much better than it was. It peaked during the two weeks leading up to Christmas and has slowly been getting better since, although I'm still dehydrated and still have a love/hate relationship with food. Sigh.

Appointment: January 12th, 1pm:
Appointment went well. Heartrate was in 150's. We talked a lot about bleeding/spotting, with no real conclusion. There is a real feeling that all will be well though. I got scolded for not calling sooner about my m/s. It didn't help that I spent this morning in tears so was exhausted when I got to the appointment and said so. I feel better but still not well. They have given me one week to feel better and call if I'm not. She sent in referral for big u/s and will wait to schedule next appt until after ultrasound Smile

15 weeks:
Spotting slowed down last week, but it really seems to be drawing to a close now, looks more like tinged CM vs actual spotting!

17 weeks:
Absolutely no sign of anymore spotting. Finally, m/s is under control as well! I just barely started drinking water again. This is going to be a good week. Oh, and best of all, I can now feel baby kicking!

35 weeks:
Can't believe it is finally here. Natalie is head down and ready to go. 2 more weeks and I'm clear for a Birth Center delivery, any time after that is great!

Next appointment: GBS swab on June 15th
then March 1st - MW appt

Kristen's Space

I'm Kristen (31) and DH is Donnie (37). We met in May 2005, engaged May 2006, and married June 23, 2007!
DH is a firefighter and I'm now a SAHM after teaching third grade for 7 years, and I also do photography on the side.

Privett 2010-72

In December 2007 we started trying for our first and were blessed just 3 cycles later to be pregnant with our first. Jackson Thomas, who's now 2, is a handful!

After deciding we were ready again, we were extremely lucky to get pregnant our first month trying. We find out we're pregnant on November 1, 2010, the day the Giants won the World Series!

Lilypie Pregnancy tickers

December 8th: Meet midwife in our new town. Everything goes well, she changes my due date from July 12 (what I had calculated) to July 14th (which is my parent's wedding anniversary!). She's very thorough and awesome! They don't have an ultrasound in the office, so I'm scheduled for one the next day.

December 9th: U/S at clinic. Everything looks great and pregnancy confirmed!

Scheduled appointment, January 4th
Scheduled independent gender ultrasound, January 21st, we're very impatient people!

I'm Ashley (24) and I've been married to my DH (27) for just over 4 years. Baby #2 is due July 17, 2011! We already have one DD who was born in August 2009 who is the light of our lives and always keeps us on our toes. My DH wanted our kids as close in age as possible, so I quit taking the mini-pill in April of this year when my DD was 8 months old when I also stopped BFing (for other reasons). It took 2 months for AF to return and my cycle was completely messed up for a few months before going back to normal. It took us 6 months to conceive my DD, so we were pleasantly surprised that this baby only took 5 despite my postpartum hormone issues. I guess we are just "average" that way Lol This baby and DD will be 23 months apart and I'm really looking forward to the adventure that lies ahead!

Here's my BFP from Nov. 8th (13 DPO):

12/01: First appointment! Had u/s and saw baby's heartbeat (136 BPM) and he/she is measuring 7w2d putting my EDD at July 18th! I've had an "off" feeling since my BFP so I'm thrilled things looked good as I was expecting the worst.
12/28: 11 week appt, HB was great! Got another us and baby was very wiggly and seemed to be growing well. Bumped due date back to July 17th.
01/25: 15 week appt, HB was in 150s, OB says uterus growth is right on track
02/24: BIG U/S! :woohoo: IT'S A [COLOR=blue]BOY! HB was in 140s (higher than my DD, so much for that myth) and he looks perfect.
03/22: 23 week appt, HB was 154 (still higher than my DD's was), gained 5 lbs since last appt but OB wasn't concerned since I gained similar last pregnancy, measuring 24 weeks.
04/19: 27 week appt/GD Testing, HB was in 150's, measuring right on for 27 weeks
05/10: 30 week appt, HB was 163, measuring 30 weeks, passed GD test easily (70) woohoo!
05/24 32 week appt, HB was in 160's then dropped to 140's (apparently that's a good sign), measuring 33 weeks

I got my first ever BFP on November 12!
My husband is in the military & we live in England...when I got the BFP, I was home in the states and I called him right away to wake him up and tell him, "It's a yes!"
I was 20 dpo when I took the test... my DH & my BFF had to convince me to take the test, but I didn't really think I needed to because I already "knew" based on my charts (and had already contacted a midwife!!) The day I got back from the states, we tried to go to the base for the blood test so we could get that ball rolling, but the clinic was closed!! We're going first thing Monday...this weekend is dragging!

Just Us

Troy and I have been together for 3 years and got married on March 10, 2010 in Jamaica. Even before we were engaged we knew that we had the same aspirations and goals in life, and a big part of that was growing our family and raising children. After the wedding in March, we planned for a big family celebration to be in August with plans to start trying to conceive shortly after. We stopped using birth control in September as planned, and after one full cycle I missed my period only to test and find out that we were indeed expecting!

And Baby

We found out that we were expecting on November 4th, 2010 and based on my last cycle start date of September 27th we expect the baby to be due approximately July 5th, 2011. We are really struggling to keep from yelling from the rooftops with excitement, and the reactions from our parents when we announced the pregnancy was equally ecstatic! So far I am feeling excellent, just some mild symptoms such as tiredness, minor cramping, and a stronger sensitivity to smells, and I still can't believe that this is real! (Maybe some morning sickness would make it feel more like reality!? *knock on wood*)

Robyn's Space

Hi, my name is Robyn and I'm 26 years old. My fiance, Daniel and I have been inseparable since meeting. We have been dating for 8 years. We plan on marry when the baby is about 1 year old, so next summer. This pregnancy was a surprise. I wasn't planning on having children till thirty.. I was a little shocked at first, but I am super excited now!!! My only children right now are four cats.

I have a university degree in Political Science and History. I am a partner in a family owned business. Luckily, my job is home based, so I can relax a little more.

WEEK 4: Started to feel different. Felt a little dizzy and had cramping in my stomach. My breasts were also tender and I felt like they were growing. These signs convinced me to take a test. I took a digital test.... didn't think of taking a picture. When the test came up positive I was shocked, but not at the same time. I went out and bought two pregnancy books, so I could learn everything.
WEEK 5: So far, I am feeling good... besides the new unwanted fat around my hips. Felt extremely tired at the end of week.
WEEK 6: Breasts still sensitive. Feeling somewhat nauseous. Stomach feels very sensitive. End of week was very sick. Feeling lethargic and nauceous
WEEK 7: Went to NYC on the weekend. Woke up Sunday at 7 am puking and going to the washroom uncontrollably. Rushed to the airport to go home, but had to wait 5 hours. Rushed to the hospital when I got home. I had gastro and was given medication and fluids to rehydrate me. They said the baby should be okay Smile
WEEK 8: Feeling SUPER Tired. Someone stole my computer out of my luggage on the way back from nyc, so I lost all my notes for school. Exam is this week Sad Feeling pretty hopeless. Breasts still tender. I feel like I am looking more pregnant.
WEEK 9: Feeling so tired. Christmas was so hard because I could barely keep my eyes open when visiting family. The last two days I started feeling a little better, but I woke up this morning with a horrible cold. Just my luck Sad
WEEK 10: I actually have the FLU!!!!
WEEK 11: Starting to feel better. No more sickness!!! I feel like I have to pee all the time and my back is starting to hurt. I would love a back massage right now Smile
WEEK 12: Got a pregnancy pillow and it is amazing. I had my first ultrasound this week. It was amazing. I also got the fetal Doppler I ordered in the mail. It took me about 10 minutes to get a good position, but once I did it was amazing to hear my baby's little heart beating Smile I pulled a muscle in my back pulled when I got up midweek! My back is really starting to feel the pressure of a growing stomach and baby.
WEEK 13: Feeling emotional. I plan to get back to working out. I tried the prenatal yoga video I bought and its great for stretching the sore areas. I am going on a little vacation to Washington DC at the end of this week, so I am especially looking forward to week 14.
WEEK 14: Went to Washington DC most of the week. Felt totally fat when trying to dress up Sad I look huge! Other than that it was a great vacation. We had a fuji whirlpool tub in our room. My aching joints loved it. I have been feeling little sparks in my stomach for awhile. I keep thinking it is the baby moving! Maybe?
WEEK 15: I found out I am having a girl this week. I am so excited! I have already starting buying cute girl clothes on ebay. My belly is getting BIGGER. Hubby says people can tell looking at me Smile I have been getting headaches in the nights recently. I assume its the hormones. I never get full anymore either.
WEEK 16: My emotions are out of whack. I keep thinking of everything I need to do and it is stressing me out. I also feel cranky and fat.
WEEK 17: Felt Ava moving the first day!!! I am busy painting the the house for Ava Smile
WEEK 18: What a great week. Celebrated my birthday and Daniel proposed! Pregnancy-wise I am getting more and more uncomfortable as I get bigger. I am finding it harder to move around. My arms have also gained a lot of weight Sad
WEEK 19: Pregnancy is making me so forgetful! My legs are really feeling the weight gain. CRAMPS
WEEK 20: Half-way point!!! WooHoo!! I feel the baby kicking, but I feel like she should be doing more and harder. I also feel like I am really low! Looking Forward to my ultrasound appointment Friday.
WEEK 21: Ava is kicking up a storm. She loves to kick in the nights. I bought her stroller and car seat this week.
WEEK 22: Ava is starting to kick at all times of the day. One thing that I dislike is her kicking my lower parts. I can only imagine how uncomfortable it will get later on in my pregnancy. I had an amazing prenatal massage this weekend and my back feels new!
WEEK 23: Finally, decided on a crib / changing table. I had my heart set on a white crib with carved designs in the wood. I couldn't find one anywhere, but online! By chance I came across a store called Baby Depot while driving on the highway (while I was going to another baby store) and they had one! I am having a hard time sleeping at end of the week. The baby loves to sit on my bladder too, so I constantly feel like I have to go when I don't!
WEEK 24: The bad things about pregnancy are kicking in this week Sad I have a hard time getting comfortable and my legs are started to cramp up!
WEEK 25: Had a 4d Ultrasound this week and it was amazing. I could actually see Ava kicking me and feel it! Her kicking was really crazy one night this week. She kept hitting my cervix and wouldn't stop.
WEEK 26: I feel like garbage! I constantly feel nauseous! My legs are cramping and I look like a house.
WEEK 27: Gastro AGAIN! Went away for a last vacation before Ava is born and got sick Sad My stomach is getting sensitive to certain foods. I am also starting to get very uncomfortable because my uterus is expanding and when I bend down I hit it Sad
WEEK 28: I'm having trouble sleeping because I get so uncomfortable. I wake up at the crack of dawn to eat and then go back to bed if I'm lucky. My feet and legs are swelling. Sad Needless, to say I have turned into SLOW walker. My nose starting bleeding one night too.
WEEK 29: My throat has been hurting for a couple of days. I think I have a mild cold Sad I am almost finished Ava's room.
WEEK 30:
WEEK 31: Started childbirth classes this week.
WEEK 32:
WEEK 33: Sleep is a thing of the past. I barely ever get a good nights rest. I have slept like 5 hours a night Sad
WEEK 34: My Uterus hurts so much when standing up. I feel like an old women. My feet get tired, so much faster. I had a little breakdown because nothing fit me, so I went out and bought some last min. pregnancy clothes Smile
WEEK 35 - Think I'm losing pieces of my mucus plug slowly. Lots of Braxton hicks contractions.
WEEK 36 - It's super hot, so I feel like my legs are really swelling up. I'm getting really sick of people staring at me when I'm out! My hubby laughs cause I get complaining about it.

Baby Countdown

DUE DATE: July 29

Dec 6: Family Doctor - Had blood tests will get the results Dec 15.

Jan 14: Ultrasound with OBGYN - I got to see my baby!!! At first the baby wasn't moving, but then she jiggled my stomach and he threw a fit and started kicking his / her feet everywhere. I started to tear up when the baby was moving. It sucked that sonographer didn't say anything to me, like "your baby looks healthy... etc". She did what she had to do and basically sent me out. I did get a report that I have to give to my doctor next week. It has all the details. The scan said I was 12 weeks 3 days, so pretty close to my estimate. The baby's skull and abdomen appear normal. The stomach, bladder, hands, feet were all visible. The amniotic fluid was normal too

The fetal heart rate was 157 bpm.

Jan 21: First appointment with OBGYN - Everything went well. Had blood tests and a pap smear. My doctor told me I have to watch my weight. Sad He was pretty nice and very calm. Asked him questions about what I could not eat and do and he basically said everything is okay in moderation.

Feb 6: Gender Ultrasound - GIRL!!!

Feb 18 - Prenatal Exam - Basic appointment. Listened to Ava's heat beat. Doctor didn't say much.

March 18: Ultrasound - I got the same unfriendly tech as last time. I must admit she was a little nicer this time The tech looked to see if the baby's body parts were forming along with the organs. She had a hard time getting good pics of her heart ventricles because Ava refused to cooperate. The tech had to make me lie on my side for 5 minutes till she moved! Anyway, she finally got the pics she needed and her heart is perfectly fine. Ava is also measuring a week a bigger than she should, so I might give birth earlier. I thought they were going to schedule me for a third trimester scan, but my hospital told me they only do that if the doctor recommends it.

March 25 - Prenatal Exam
Doctor asked me how things were going and that's about it Wink

April 17 - 3d Ultrasound

April 29 - Prenatal Exam

May 13 - Prenatal Exam: Did the glucose test today. I did it early on with my general doctor, but they said it should be done again. I really can't stand the orange concoction.

June 3 - Prenatal Exam

I'm already starting with a bigger belly. I gained 10 pounds before I got pregnant from a vacation across Europe. Sad So, it will be some time before the bump shows through my fat Smile

Due Date--07/29/2011

Hey there! My DH and I are both 31 and we had been trying since Dec. 2007 when we took our 'last trip as non-parents' to Hawaii -- fast forward Dec 2008, we were told we would never have children and we should adopt. After many tears and phone calls, i FINALLY got a dr to call me back and they said we could have our own kids, but it would be hard. We have MFI (male factor infertility) DH's morphology (shape of the lil' swimmers) is the issue and they can't get in my eggs.... so we tried EVERYTHING before surrendering to IVF.... Summer 2010 we decided to go ahead and jump in with both feet, we had done everything we could....
September 2010 we did IVF - i had 18 fert. eggs and 9 of them were good enough to transfer or freeze. That cycle ended in a BFN - we were heartbroken and devestated...IVF was not only financially draining, it was emotionally and physcially draining as well.
We moved onto FET in November and here we are, we transfered 2 babies, but we are pregnant with one lil' bean.
To say we are over the moon excitied is an understatement....somedays it still doesn't feel real....i can't believe that after 3 years of TTC, 1 failed IVF, many tears and heartbreak...here we are celebrating life and our lil' baby!!

HPT pics -

Bedding/Room Theme

11/23/10 - beta #1 -796
11/26/10 - beta #2 -2245
12/1/10 -ultrasound - ONE baby - i cried looking at my lil' bean on the screen...it was so cute! beta #3-13,230
12/4/10 -ER visit due to bleeding...heard the heartbeat!!
12/8/10 - follow-up - subchronic bleed, not active. May still bleed/spot until reabsorbed. Baby growing and heartbeat/rate looks GREAT! Also tiny uterine contraction, probably from all the stress/activity from this weekend...ugh.
12/15/10-follow-up -baby looks great - heart rate of 155!! We got to hear the heart beating....such a cool sound. Bloodclot has gone down, so continue with limited bed rest. Contraction is gone-as the nurse said...my uterus looked very happy today. Smile
12/22/10 -Baby looks like a baby now. Saw it dancn' around. Placenta is carrying blood through the umbilical cord to baby, got to see the cord, placenta and the blood flowing through it...pretty neat. HR 178, heard the heartbeat again....so amazing. Blood clot is getting smaller.Continue rest.
12/27/10-1st Obgyn appointment. Heard the baby's heart beat on the dopplar thingy. Overall great apointment. Got some restrictions removed and i can move down to the couch!!
12/30/10- ultrasound- spoiled by fertility clinic's ultrasound machine and was so disapointed with this ultrasound from the outside and i could barely make out baby...but it did have hiccups..lol HR 170. Clot is smaller and will see DR every 2 weeks.
1/14/11- Just your normal, run of the mill Dr apt. Nothing exciting. Heard the heartbeat -150's.
1/27/11 - no ultrasound today, since no spotting for 2wks, believes the clot is gone. Can resume regular activites.
3/3/11- GENDER ultrasound!! --LOL - or not. Baby hid it's goods, but was looking good. Concerns about my blood pressure still being on the higher end of normal, so blood pressure meds will begin, and next apt 2wks.
3/17/11 - :stpatricks: It's a girl!!!
4/13/11 - failed my 1hr glucose test...doh
4/18/11 - failed my 3hr glucose test.... double doh
5/13/11 - had the most boring Dr. apt ever....everything is going well....FINALLY!!
5/31/11 - Things are looking good - measuring 33wks - so about 1 1/2 wks ahead

8wks: Feeling great, getting up at 2am and 430am to pee. Feeling less bloated. Harder to fall asleep, but that might be the bedrest starting to kick in. By the end of this week, started feeling a little icky during the afternoon, even when i eat. Ice cream seems to help it. Smile
9wks: Feeling less bloated. As quickly as morning sickness came, it's gone.....or not....
10 weeks!!!!: Double digits!!! woot! Feeling way tired and just icky feeling...like bubble gut...i'm not liking the feeling and just feeling worn out and exhausted. Still spotting from clot, now with more activity, spotting a little more -

My name is Holly, and my DH and I are 31. In March we will have been married 10 years. We started dating our senior year of high school, made it through a long distance relationship for 3.5 years, and have been happily married since. I am a post partum/nursery nurse, and I have a sweet 6 year old DD, and a busy 3 year old DS. We are not going to find out the sex of this baby, since this is our last one, and we found out with the first two.

Our story: I've always dreamed about having a big family, and we've been working hard at it for the last 5 years, but have had more losses than successes (3:1). We're now being seen by a clinic that specializes in recurring miscarriages, and I'm hopeful that this will do the trick. We used Clomid (50mg) to conceive, and did so on our 6th cycle (with my son we used 100mg & conceived on the 5th cycle). Looking forward to our next little miracle!!!

I finally feel comfortable enough to reserve a space. My name is Michele and have been married to my DH David for 11 years. We've had some serious ups and downs, but have always come out on top. Our original goal was to have our first child at 30. Little did we know how challenging this journey would be. We started actively TTC in Nov. 2007. It took a year to get pregnant, which ended up resulting in 3 losses within one years time, for a total of 4 losses (we had an oops pg when we were 20). I had a gamet of testing done only to find out that I'm "normal" and was told to keep trying. Instead of getting mad or upset like I usually did, I decided to relax and not stress about it. We kinda went in to JLIH mode and I gave myself a realistic goal of a pregnancy in Oct. when I started seeing the RE in July. I didn't think I was pg unitl my usual pre-AF spotting started and then abruptly stopped without returning.

Jenny's Space

My name is Jenny (32) and my husband is Christian (30).

A little about us...
DH and I met in college, fell in love, and got then married. After two years of teaching we got pregnant. My first pregnancy went really well. I was able to finish the school year. Our DD was born in 2004. We lost our second pregnancy at 17 weeks. Our third pregnancy was considered high risk. We saw lost of specialist, but nothing was recommended. Our second DD was born at 30 weeks and was in the hospital for five weeks before coming home. The fourth pregnancy ended at 8 weeks. The fifth pregnancy (and we thought our last) was also high risk with lots more specialist. This time they recommended the 17-P shots. I had the shots weekly until I went into labor at 30 weeks again. Our DS was born the next day and was in the hospital for a little over five weeks before he came home with monitors. We moved to a new city when DS was just a year old. We were sure that we were done. After some complications with hormone contraceptives, we decided to make it permanent. The day that my DH had the procedure done, I found out that I was pregnant. Talk about the shock of our lives.

Estimated due date - July 3rd

Dec 23 - first appt. with the specialist. This is the first time we have seen this specialist because of moving. He recommended a cerclage. Had second ultrasound done. Everything looked great and they also ruled out major birth defects like downs syndrome.

Jan 5 - cerclage is placed. It took hours for the spinal to wear off and we almost had to spend the night at the hospital.

Jan 14 - appt. with regular OB/GYN. Check of the cerclage to make sure everything is ok. Baby sounded great.

Feb 2 - Next appt. with specialist. Will be checking cerclage and doing ultrasound. the u/s will be to check the cerclage and make sure I am not dilating above the stitch. We are hoping to find out the gender, but since that is not the purpose it is questionable if they will look for us.
Appointment was canceled because of the weather.
Feb 3 - Will be going in to regular OB to get my first 17-P shot. If you've never had these, it is a shot in the rear end that hurts for about five days. Then one week after getting it, you go back in for another. You almost always have a sore bottom.
