Since we already have some early BFPs I thought it was time to start up the spaces thread. Congrats to all you August 2010 Mamas!
**August 2010 Spaces**
Welcome to August 2010 and a HH9M to you all!
Please reserve your spot AFTER you get your BFP!
Spaces are reserved for pictures of our growing bellies, ultrasound photos, and nursery shots.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE POSTING!
* This is a NO COMMENTS thread. Please post your newest belly pictures to the general threads for comments.
* Reserve your "space" once you get your BFP and edit it each time you post a new picture. DO NOT create a new post for each new picture you are posting. Make a post ONE TIME and then EDIT it each time you'd like to add new pictures. Do this by clicking the "edit" button in the bottom right hand corner of YOUR post.
* Because this is already a picture heavy thread, please turn off your signatures. You can do this by unchecking the "Show your signature" button before your hit submit to post your message.
* Most importantly, POST PICTURES! We want to see those growing bumps and beautiful babies!

Oh boy!! I guess I'm first I'm scared to reserve my spot, but here we go!
Hi there! My name is Holly and I'm 26 years old. I've been married to my hubby, Todd, for 4 1/2 years, and we have two beautiful little girls. Addison was born 6.1.06 and is 3 1/2 years old. Lauryn was born 11.29.07 and will be 2 next week! We started trying for our third little blessing in December 2008 and after three crazy cycles, we were blessed with our BFP. I was due in Nov. 09, but sadly that pregnancy ended in a m/c. After 7 long, frustrating months with the last 2 being on Clomid I got my BFP at 11 dpo. I am due July 30 and am so looking forward to this journey!
11.12.09 Had my progesterone checked at 4dpo. It came back 25.2
11.20.09 Had a beta drawn. At 13 dpo: 152
11.27.09 Had a small wave of nauseus this morning.
12.5.09 First day with constant waves of nauseus.
12.10.09 First OB appointment-Went really well! Due date has been changed to July 30 and my u/s has been scheduled for Monday, 12.14.09. Doctor wants to give me some reassurance right away as well as check to see how many LOs are in there!
12.14.09 First u/s went amazingly well!! We have a heartbeat...150 beautiful bpm Baby measured 7w2d so we're right on track with our due date as well! Whew!
12.30.09 OB Appointment....was able to get a second peak at our little one. Nice strong hb of 163 bpm
1.10.10 Trip to the ER. Wanted to check on baby after being rear-ended. LO looked good. Nice, strong hb of 163 bpm!
1.13.10 Found LO at home with the doppler. HB bounced around from 157-163
1.28.10 Had a boring, uneventful appointment BP was fine, measured right on track. LO had a hb of 156 (doc found it right away). I am also up 2 lbs.
1.30.10 Ended up in the ER for some bleeding. After an u/s was performed, it showed that I have a low placenta. Am currently on pelvic rest and if bleeding starts again, modified bed rest may be in order
2.13.10 I *think* I felt the baby yesterday (16w1d). I was laying on the couch and felt this little tap. It was down low and off to the right side, which is where I typically find baby with the doppler. I poked around for a while hoping it would happen again and nothing. Then 10 minutes later I felt the same thing. I am pretty sure it was the baby!!
2.25.10 Good appointment. BP, weight gain, and hb were all good. Asked about some pains I've been experiencing. Doc thinks that it's ligament pains and scar tissue stretching. Makes me feel better. U/S has been set!!
3.11.10 20 Week U/S IT'S A BOY!!
3.25.10 Good appointment. BP, hb (147 bpm), and weight gain (+4 lbs) were good. I'm up 17 lbs from prepregnancy weight. Scheduled my 3D u/s for next appointment!
4.22.10 Ok appointment. I'm up another 6 lbs (total of 23), hb was good, although Cam gave the doctor a run for her money trying to find it. My bp was normal (Which was a good thing. It had been 94/58 at school and I nearly passed out). I passed my glucose test by 1 point, but have low iron. I got to see Cameron via 3D u/s. It was incredible!! I'm now on to 2 week appointments!
5.6.10 Good appointment....Up another 4 lbs., Cam's hb was good, bp was normal, and my belly measured right on. We schedule my u/s for July 23 and we discussed my birth plan. Most of the items I posted doctor was ok with....only a few things I have to consider changing. Now it's just hoping that the nursing staff is as ok with it as the doctor was when the big day rolls around. Yay!
6.3.10 Good appointment. Up another 3 lbs, Cam's hb was 130 bpm, and my belly measured right now. Confirmed date and time of c/s: July 23 at 8 AM. Everything was good!
6.15.10 Good appointment. Up another lbs, Cam's hb was in the 140's. Doctor (not mine, but a different one in the office) did ask twice how far I was and measured me twice, but other than that didn't say anything. I go back in 2 weeks
7.1.10 Good appointment. Up another 4 lbs ( ) BP was good, Cam's hb was good, and urine looked good. Belly measured right on, Cam is head down and estimated to be around 6 lbs. I had my GBS test, and will get the results next time, and was checked for dialation. No dialation, but I am starting to thin and soften. I go back in a week. Yay!
Here's how the nursery looks before it's finished:
Pics of the nursery after it's finished:
(12.30.09) 9w5d-141 lbs.
(1.28.10) 13w6d-143 lbs.
(2.25.10) 17w6d-149 lbs.
(3.25.10) 21w6d-154 lbs
(4.22.10) 25w6d-160 lbs
(5.6.10) 27w6d-163 lbs. Boo!
(6.3.10) 31w6d-166 lbs.
(7.1.10) 35w6d-171 lbs
Hello, my name is Kari. I have been married to my best friend since May 27, 2006. We started dating when we were just 15 and 16 and have been together ever since. We had a beautiful little girl 4/5/07 right smack dab in the middle of nursing school (don't recommend taking OB/GYN while pregnant lol) I am currently an RN in an orthopaedic surgeon's office. We are now expecting baby number 2! EDD is July 30th, 2010, so a-board-hopping-I-will-go!
July 31, 2010
December 2nd, 2009- saw the heartbeat at 91 bpm!! Grow bean grow!
December 18th, 2009
YAY! I am so glad to be here with you!! My dh (Dave) and I had a consultation appointment with our RE on Nov. 16th, but found out on the 21st that we wouldn't needed their assistance after all! We've been married for five years and have a beautiful daughter (Kristy) who is 20 months old. I was a special education teacher for students with learning disabilities for six and a half years before having my dd. I have been blessed to be a stay at home mommy since she's been born. Looking forward to getting to know you all more!
Well originally it was AUGST 1st but after my u/s it could be JULY 24th --We shall see!
December 22nd, hoping for an u/s to see my LO's heartbeat & pics! mDidn't see my little one on this appointment, she doesn't have the u/s machine at her office. We did get the paperwork started for my 1st u/s though! I also got all my blood work done! Things started off pretty well!
January 13th, it was amazing!! We went to a place that specializes in them, so it was awesome! The technician was probably on my belly for about 45 minutes! My dh and dd came with and it was just so much fun! She was able to really zoom in on our little one and gave us a cd with lots of pics and little video clips. The baby was measuring at 12w 4d even though I was currently 11w 3d; so the due date could possibly move up to July 24th instead of Aug. 1st...will wait and see what my OB says. Oh...heart rate was 164.
January 19th, it was pretty good. Everything is looking great so far, and she was able to find the heartbeat as soon as she put the doppler on, she said it was in the 150s. The only downside of the appointment was that she didn't have the u/s results in her files yet---so she couldn't really tell me if we just have a bigger baby on our hands or if the due date has changed. Will hopefully call tomorrow to find out (Jan. 25). I've gained 7 lbs since being preggo...I'm okay with that. LOL!
Finally did some Chinese calendar tests today (Jan. 24)--since I'm officially in my 2nd trimester!! Most of the tests say it's a BOY! I'm excited for either one though, if we do have a girl then I'm thinking we'd try at least one more time.

EDD= August 1st
Hi girls! I'm excited to be with all of you! My name's Lori and I have a daughter named Adelaide (Addie). I was a writer for 3 years, but I retired in March 09 to be a full-time mom.
I've been married for almost 5 years to DH Sam, and we moved from Utah to the NW and bought our first home this past summer (2010). I graduated with a BA in English at BYU, and my husband graduated with his master's in Information Systems April 09. I enjoy photography, playing guitar and piano, singing, blogging, writing, digi scrapping, playing video games or board games, and reading.
Simon's birth story 7-27-10
I am so excited to be a part of this group! This is our third child and it seems like the first! I am not sure why... maybe since it has been about 3 years. I have been married for 5 years to my wonderful husband, John. We have two girls already. Emma is 4 and Gracie is almost three (Jan 2nd). We are so excited to have three! I am a stay at home mom as well as the president of a new service chapter at the Children's Hospital in Denver. Our group does fundraising for books as well as providing guest readers at the hospital. Before my girls, I was a teacher, literacy coach, and working on my principal's license. Now, I love being home with my girls.

Hi everyone!!! I am so excited to be here. My name is Mandy and my DH is Dave. We have been married for almost a year and a half and have a DD who is almost 9 months old. I can't wait for these next wonderful 9 months!!
August 2, 2010
December 10th @ 1pm - Calculated due date to be 8/2/10 (changed from my prediction of 8/10/10 based on my longest cycle of 36 days)
January 4th @ 10am - Tried to find heartbeat but couldn't....hopefully it was just too early or the little bean was just hiding
January 18th @ 8:50am - Found the heartbeat immediately. Yay!! Looks like we are having a girl cause the heartrate was 172 bpm!!!
February 16th @ 10:40am - Boring but good check up. Heartrate was 160 bpm.
March 15th @ 8:00am - Ultrasound!!!! It's a BOY!!! Unfortunately he has bilateral choroid plexus cysts. Hopefully these will go away on their own soon.
April 12th @ 8:30am - Quick and easy appointment. Heartrate 142bpm.
May 10th @ 9:30am - Found out that I passed my glucose test!!! Yay!!! DJ's heartrate was 144. I am up 8.8lbs since last appointment (YIKES!!).
May 24th @ 8:00am - The cysts were gone!!! Yay!!! And he was measuring right on track.
June 8th @ 9:00am - Stubborn baby boy was now head up (he was head down at last appointment). Doctor said we will have another u/s at 36-37 weeks to check size and position. Will try to manually flip him if he is still being stubborn. Student doctor made DJ mad by poking at his head so his heartrate was 166!!
June 24th @ 2:30pm - Stubborn baby boy is now supposedly head down...hopefully he will stay that way. His heartrate was 140 and everything else was good.
Next appointment July 8th @ 4:30pm - Will do group B strep culture.
