My left boob is my clogged duct boob! My right one produces more (almost double most pumping sessions) but it almost never gets a clog. My left boob will get hard and lumpy and painful!

All this talk of pumping....I pumped 15 oz the other day in one session at work. I usually pump at 11 and at 3:30ish and get 10oz at 11 and then 6-8oz at 3:30 but I was running late and didn't get to pump until almost 1 and got 15oz in one session. My freezer stash is up over 500oz and I haven't touched an ounce yet. I had the stomach flu and thought it would impact my supply but it didn't. We haven't started any solids yet though and he nurses 2 or 3 times a night and every 2-3 hours all day though so he does his part to ensure I make milk like a dairy cow. Of course despite all of that AF is back on her normal 31 day cycle. BOOOO HISSSS

Dang that's a lot of milk. You can cut back on pumping, you know!

I know....I have pumping anxiety! I do have 2 overnight work related trips in June and I don't intend to bring home milk (will pump and dump) so that will deplete the stash by 3-4 days worth of milk.....so 100-150oz maybe? I'm just paranoid. But I really do need to stop adding to the stash the chest freezer is getting a bit full.

Alrighty, I think I'm done. I think I'll wean at 6 months and call it a good effort. I know it'd be a different story with one baby. This is slowly killing me.

Sheila, you've done amazing!! Do what feels right for your family, six months is more than just a good effort. You've done an incredible job for those babies!

You've gone longer than I may have with twins especially with all the extra pumping you do. Kudos for going this long and agree with previous post - do what feels right for you and babies and you can never go wrong.

Sheila you've done amazing!!! I can certainly understand you are done... pumping is so time consuming and annoying, I don't even know how you do it with two babies!!

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for getting through longer night stretches without pumping/feeding? My son is refusing to go in his crib so I often feel like I can't get up to pump. I'm on mastitis round 5. I know a lot of people use CIO methods and then they aren't breastfeeding for 12 hours at a time ... how does that work?

No advice here but I wonder too. On the rare occasion Ryan goes (almost) all night without nursing my milk supply suffers. I am on a max dose of domperidone butfigured there's so many other people whose babies sleep through the night, they don't seem to have a problem with milk production.
