The line on my test that made it positive completely faded after a day or 2 so I don't have a picture of it to post on here. THe only pic I have is on my phone. I will give some back story though.

My name is Lindy. Dh is Anthony. We have 2 girls already. This was our first cycle of TTC and I can't believe it happened already. I wasn't expecting to get preggo this cycle. In fact, I was hoping it would be no earlier than next cycle but figured we'd try anyways. I am due May 1st. We will NOT find out the sex of the baby until it is born but we are hoping for a boy. We used the Shettles method this cycle so fingers crossed.

HH9M to those of you who are pregnant and I can't wait until we get our board established with lots and lots of BFP's!!!

DH and I are high school sweethearts, we started dating in February 1997. I have been in love with the boy since the tender age of 16!! Biggrin We have 2 boys Aidan Connor (10/10/08 ) and Gavin Benjamin (2/24/10). DS1 was conceived during a TTC break, as I was planning a mission trip out of the country. DS2 was a COMPLETE OOPS! They are the sweetest, most loving little boys ever and I couldn't imagine life without them and we are super excited about adding a third blessing to the mix! We were actually TTC this time, 1st cycle was a charm! I feel very blessed by that! We (I) are really hoping for a girl this time, but will love another little guy just the same! Looking forward to this journey with all of you other lovely Mommies! HH9M to us all!

Baby number 3!!

Just found out that we're expecting baby #3 and am so excited! EDD is May 4, 2012. My husband and I got married in 2004 and have 2 kids - daughter, Finley (3/28/08 and son, Graham (4/8/10). We're looking forward to adding a third to the mix, but a little nervous. We planned to start TTC this winter, but it happened a little sooner! I don't think we'll find out the sex and we don't care either way since we already have one of each! Looking forward to getting to know all of you over the next 9 months!

Got my BFP on 8/25 Smile

My name is Angel, Im 26 years old!! I am the youngest of 5 kids. I work as a Manager at Good ole Pizza Hut. I was diagnosed with PCOS officially in 2004 after my first m/c. My journey to motherhood has been a struggle but i think that helps me appreciate little things people tend to not enjoy while pregnant. I met my husband in 2007. We were introduced from my brother and werent supposed to be more than "just friends" We welcomed our first child together 10-29-09. Ive been apart of Pregnanct.org since July 2003 on and off. My November 09 mommies are a great bunch of ladies and i hope to form more friendships. I will up date this as we go!!

Laura's SURPRISE Space!

Hello! I'm Laura! I've been married to Steven since May 27, 2006. We TTC for 14 months (6 months of Clomid, blah!) in order to get our sweet baby Claire. Claire was born January 1, 2011. She weighed 5lb, 15oz and was 19.5" long. Imagine our SURPRISE when we got pregnant our first month not being careful. Biggrin God is good and we are so blessed! We are so very excited!

My Pregnancy with Claire
Claire's Birth Story

I just like seeing the pretty "pregnant" line. Dirol I'm done testing now.

9/2/11: DH and I Skyped with his parents. DH said, "Well, we have some news..." and my FIL finished with, "Laura's pregnant again!" ROFL DH said, "Yep, Claire's going to be a big sister!" Then my MIL clued into the conversation and said, "I thought y'all were gonna say that y'all bought a house!" They're pretty excited!

9/3/11: I called my Mom in a panic because I had some brown spotting. I freaked out even though it was very minimal. She was so excited and then reassured me that as long as it was brown, that I'd be okay. She put my Daddy on the phone and I said, "Well, we got a surprise this week... Claire's going to be a big sister!" Daddy responded with giggles then asked, "Did you forget a pill or something?!?" in which I heard my Mom yell "DAVID!!!" in the background! So hilarious! My parents are super excited about another grandchild!

9/4/11: Today we went to my parents' house and shared the news with my Mamaw. I was holding Claire and said, "Mamaw, Claire wants you to know that she's gonna be a big sister!" My Mamaw's face went blank and she turned around and said, "David, please walk me to a chair, I think I'm about to faint." Then her legs started wobbling. That lasted about 1 minute (seemed a LOT longer at the moment) and then Mamaw started giggling. She's so silly that she faked it all! Scared me half to death! ROFL She's excited but can't believe it's so soon!

8/30/11: First beta! (3w, 5d) HCG = 30, Progesterone = 16
9/6/11: Beta! (4w, 5d) HCG = 2,039
9/14/11: First OB Appointment and Ultrasound; Beta! HCG = 29,874
9/30/11: OB Appointment and Ultrasound
10/28/11: NT Scan and Lab Work
11/30/11: OB Appointment and Ultrasound

8/29/11: Surprise BFP!
9/01/11: Brown spotting. It was very minimal.
9/07/11: Nurse called to report beta #2 numbers. Mentioned the possibility of twins.
9/12/11: A tiny bit of brown spotting. Nurse moved my u/s to this Wednesday.
9/16/11: First day in my maternity clothes! So soon?!?
9/30/11: Saw the heart beating for the 1st time! Smile
10/28/11: It's a BOY! (NT Scan showed a boy nub!) Heard HB on home doppler
11/30/11: Cooper is still a BOY! I had an u/s to check my placenta location due to some intense pressure. Dr. P says it's from having back-to-back pregnancies. All looks healthy! Smile

A little bit about us:

Mike and I have been together 10 years (in Sept. 2011) and married for 6. He is working on a Masters in Social Work and I practice Elder Law for a private attorney. We live in Mid-coast Maine.

We have been on the TTC journey for 3.5 years. We tried everything from trying intensely to hardly trying at all, to Clomid. Finally we got our first BFP in Feb. 2011, only to lose that pregnancy at 10w4d in April 2011. After a crazy busy summer, we find ourselves pregnant again!

6w5d (9/21): First u/s. Baby measured 6w4d and had a heartbeat of 117. We got to hear it beating; it was so cool hearing that swish-swish sound.
10/10: Baby measured 9weeks. Heartbeat was nice and strong. Little legs and arms were kicking and punching. Baby was bouncing around and stretching.
10/19: Met midwife and did blood draws. Routine appointment.
12/22: It's a
GIRL!
Jan 2012: U/S discovered her chest is measuring a little small. Monitoring it, but no one seems to be concerned.
2/1/12: 25w5d and I've gained 15lbs. so far.
2/15/12: GD test; I passed with a score of 92!
3/12/12: Final ultrasound. She measured at 3lbs 11zs give or take 6 ounces either way, and she measured at the 43rd %-ile. Her amniotic fluid was fine and everything looks splendid, so we're done with ultrasounds!
3/13/12: 31w3d, I've gained 19lbs

First Ultrasound: measured 6w4d and had a heartbeat of 117

Second Ultrasound: measured 9w. Baby was moving, stretching, and kicking, so we're calling him or her "Ninja" for now

12/22: We're having a girl!

I'm Marianne. I'm married to Edwin. We've been married for five years this month. Together we have two daughters. Kayleigh 2/15/07, and Kamryn 1/6/09. We are expecting our third baby who's due 5/13/12. We planned our third baby, and got our bfp on CD2. First bfp was on 9/5/11, second bfp was on 9/6/11. Both with hcg test strips. I'm picking up first response tests to get my positive on easy to see tests.

I told my Husband first. I called him. He was on shift at the fire department. Then I told you guys on pg.org. I told my friends Kim, and Becca. Then I told my friend's Sara, Amanda and Melissa, and finally Christina. All these people are super great at keeping secrets, so otherwise we aren't announcing it to the world until I reach 14 weeks.

9/22/2011 @ 11:20a.m. for blood draw and official due date confirmation.
10/6/11: First O.B. appt. Everything went great. Papsmear, ultrasound. Baby's heart beat was beating at 169 bpm. We are right on track.

B and B's Space

B and B

B and I met in elementary school. We knew each other prior to fifth grade but that is the class where we really hit it off - I had a crush on him...he had fun being a boy. Smile We went to the same middle school though we did not have any classes or really stay in touch. We met up again fifteen years later through facebook. It turned out we were living nearly identical but separate lives - backpacking the same countries, reading the same types of books, eating the same types of foods (vegetarian), studying a lot of the same topics in school, and believing in the same types of spirituality. We both happened to be living in Arizona at the time...a long way from Illinois where we grew up. We met up for dinner and ended up talking the entire night...both of us knowing that we were done searching. Though the next couple of years held many trials and tribulations, B asked me to marry him on September 1st 2010 on the playground at the elementary school where we grew up together. We were very happily married in May of 2010 - the most perfect and happiest day of my life. Only three months later on September 1st 2011 we found out we were unexpectedly expecting - exactly one year to the day that he asked me to marry him! So, here we are, enjoying our honeymoon and first pregnancy. Smile

Sharing the News

We told my sister in law first. We both thought of her immediately and could not wait to share the news with her. We Skyped with her only a couple of days after receiving the positive tests.

We decided to tell my father in law and Mother shortly thereafter. We currently are living with my father in law and we thought that not telling him would strain our living circumstances. If we were telling him, we HAD to tell my mom. Smile

We decided to tell my brother in law and the rest of the family last weekend (at about 8 weeks) because everyone was in from all over the country for a big family get-together. We thought it was the perfect time to tell them even though we really wanted to wait until after the first trimester. We knew that there would not ever be a more perfect opportunity with everyone around.

There are still some outstandings that we have not told - my grandmother has not picked up her phone (how could someone STILL not have a cell phone??) so I am still waiting on that one and I have not told my aunt yet (because I could not in good conscious tell her before my grandmother).

I finally told my grandmother and aunt. My grandmother seemed unphased and wanted to talk about random things more than the pregnancy. On the other hand, my aunt's reaction was super! She started screaming and crying all at once...then apologized for freaking out and was just crying and saying how excited she was. The next day we talked for two hours about being pregnant and having a child. It was a really great reaction to end on. Smile

Milestones

September 1st 2011 - Surprise BFP!

September 30th 2011 - First "doctor's" appointment to confirm pregnancy. Pregnancy confirmed. Smile

October 7th 2011 - First midwife appointment. Two hours of chatting about baby and pregnancy, drew blood for tests, pap for tests, and pelvic exam. Last but certainly not least - heard the baby's heartbeat (155 bpm) through the doppler and my husband and I cried. Excellent surprise ending to the perfect first appointment. Smile

November 4th 2011 - Second midwife appointment. Talked about diet and heard the heartbeat. Still going strong at 145 bpm. Smile We decided to become a part of group prenatal classes so we "scheduled" our next appointment for November 15th with a group of parents expecting babies around the same time as ours. Should be fun!

December 2nd 2011 - Third midwife appointment. Talked about any changes - namely pain associated with sleeping on my side all night and a unique pain day that scared me a bit. The most exciting change to report was that I started to feel the baby at 16 weeks and am feeling the baby a whole lot more each day. Smile Heard the heartbeat and all is well. It was a very strong and very loud (so much so that the midwife had to turn the doppler volume down!) 142 bpm. Yay. Smile Our next appointment will be an at home visit so the midwife can check out where we have chosen to have our baby and advise us regarding it.
