Ok, finally getting some more up! We live in the country and are surrounded by farms, so I thought it would be fitting to visit a farm while June and Buddy were with us in Iowa We have a farm just down the road where you can buy organic fruits and veggies, jams, jellies, antiques, farm fresh eggs etc and they also love children there and have all sorts of animals to see. I go there every week to get our eggs and if the weather is good, Mieka and I visit the animals too. Mieka's favorites are the ducks and the bunnies, by far So here are some pictures! I will get some pictures printed out and scrapbook a few pages and then send them all on once I get an address for their next destination........
Here we are in front of the chickens:
At the bunny cage (hard to see the black bunny inside):
Running with Buddy at the farm:
June checking out the ducks:
Mieka with June and Buddy and the ducks:
I don't know what sort of birds these are, except to say that they are very loud and a little ugly They were very curious about June and Buddy though!
Now June wants a closer look at the birds:
They built a shed and filled it with field corn for the kids to play in-lots of fun! It's about a foot or so deep.........
And finally, we took June and Buddy with to my appointment with the Dr. They were little champs and climbed right up onto that exam table! DH thought it would be funny to put each one into a stirrup, but I drew the line at that

Wow, what a great idea having a corn-box for the kiddies! Looks like June & Buddy are having a great trip with the always adorable Mieka!
Very cute! Those lambs are ADORABLE. The birds are Guinea-fowl/Guinea-hens...they are definitely unique creatures LOL. My FIL has some and so do several farmers around here.
