Just out of curiousity...I don't know the terminology used here...What does String and Needle mean?

I guess there's an old wives tale for predicting gender where you use a string and needle and dangle it over your stomach and depending on how it moves (or something like that) it predicts if you're going to have a boy or girl.

Hmm...strange...I'm late to the game...but, I really do think girl....Can't wait to see on July 6th!
