Mel - Good for you for stepping out of the box! I loved the little outfit.
Sera- So sorry LO is sick. That is the worst. I hope she gets to feeling better soon!!
Maham - I wonder (like in pp) that it might just be teething. The boys always had a fever, runny nose and diarrhea whenever they got a tooth. But, if it is not teething, hope it passes fast!
Sera, hope you enjoy your shower. And that she feels better soon.
Maham, hope that it is just teething and he isnt coming down with anything. HTH, but Cheyenne gets runny noses when her teeth bother her. I have no clue how they are connected, but it just happens...LOL. That stinks your DH didnt get in. Can he write an appeal to try to get in? I dont really know how all that works.
Mel, do you planning on going back to story time? I would take the kids, but would end up chasing Wyatt around the library the entire time and it wouldnt be enjoyable. He is on a rampage lately. I cant get him to listen to me at all. Driving me absolutely insane right now. And BTW, I am the same way. I dont like going anywhere where I dont know anyone.
Can I just say that I am DONE with my taxes. I send my info online the tax pro views it, finds anything I missed, and sends it back for approval and whalaa it is done. And I missed the EIC and the Additional Child tax credit. With our cattle loss last year we get all his federal witholdings back. We can pay off two bills and have a little bit left over to get the kids a bunk bed. I am so glad to get this out of the way. I also have never gotten this much back before. Too bad it isnt available to do something else with besides pay bills. If we have a loss again next year and get this much back we should be able to finish paying off the truck.
WYATT POOPED IN THE POTTY TODAY. After about two weeks of stopping. You know he did it for two days then quit then FINALLY went today. Keep your fingers crossed he keeps it up.
fixed fish sticks for lunch and the kids dont like them. Back to chicken nuggets and chicken fries from the schwans. She always goes for the meat first when we sit down to eat. Chicken, elk, beef. But apparently fish is out.
DHs birthday is on March 4th so I need to search the net for something. I know he wants and battery operated screw driver. You cant just twist the screw in by hand.... He needs a boot jack. Guess who is the current boot jack. ME ME ME.. We watched a comedian on the comedy channel and he has some videos out, I may get him one of those too. IDK. DH hates the shirts I pick out for him. He is just picky. Wont wear purple or pink in any shirt. Do you know how many mens western shirts have those colors in them now. A LOT.
4 more mice last night.
Well, I have sat here on my rear long enough today. I need to go get something accomplished today. I may come back and lurk thru the rest of the afternoon when I get some stuff done....I am addicted to this site and to FB.
Sorry if I missed anyone. I have very short term memory loss lately.
Mel - yea for stepping out of your box! That's awesome. I am sort of the same way about going places by myself. In high school I went everywhere did everything, not shy, very outgoing...but now I'm definitely more reserved. I would like to get that "outgoing" part of me back. I'm working on it. And, as far as how Jax is dressed. Who cares! If you want to dress him that way, dress him that way. I have certain clothes for Cohen he only wears if I know he's not leaving the house that day - and even then I really hesitate on putting them on him. Jeans and t-shirts are definitely ok though. That's what C is in almost everyday. Those are his 'cute' clothes.
Hey girls. I've been staring at this pile of work all day and not really getting anything done. I'm just to tired to think logically right now.
Mel, I think that outfit is perfect for story time. I always tried to dress the boys nicer (before they could pick what they wanted to wear) but DH was usually the one to get them dressed and would always pick out jeans and a tshirt cuz he couldn't make any of the nice outfits match.
PJ, Landon still doing ok?
Sera, sorry Kaylee is so sick, poor baby.
Cristina, yay for a better night!
Maham, sorry about your DH. Definately try to appeal!
Julie, your dad/dad's wife situation sounds a lot like mine. 25 years is a long time though. I like the sympathy card idea. MIL got DH a sympathy card for his 30th bday.
OK, I don't remember anything else I read.
I've got a couple funny stories to tell you guys but I gotta go to the bathroom. BRB!

Ok, funny stories...
SIL called DH and said she just had to tell him this. She picks Logan up from school. When he walked up to her, this was the conversation.
SIL: Hey, how's my pal?
Logan: (dead serious) "I'm not your pal."
SIL: (kinda shocked) "You're not? Well I'm your pal."
Logan: (starts laughing) "No, you're a bucket!"
He really thought she was calling him a pail. lol
A little later she calls DH again and said she has another one she just had to tell him. She was playing around with Joey and was asking him where his belly button was so he'd lift up his shirt to show her and she could tickle his belly. After that he told her that he has 2 belly buttons. She, of course, asked where his other one was. He whipped his pants down and pointed to the tip of this penis.
I don't know if I told you guys before but he has told me before that girls have 2 butts, he noticed during one of Mikayla's first baths. So, according to Joey, girls have 2 butts and boys have 2 belly buttons.

Aidan and I went swimming, he's back to his old self today, so I'm guessing teeth are just around the corner, also when he bites down on a baby mum mum he cries so his gums must be sore, but I don't see any thing hmm. Swimming was awesome, Laura lives 2 towns away (about 10mins) and the pool by her is SOOOO much better, it has sprinklers and a waterfall, different levels, so Aidan could crawl on his own (well I was right there like he was going to fall off the CN tower lol) and it was sooo nice and warm, so Jordo if you're reading this, you'll LOVE IT.
Mel- I dress Aidan the exact same way lol, everything usually matches right down to the socks and shoes. I get all my stuff on super duper sale too so I don't feel so bad. Do they have Fox baby by you? I just descovered it and man almighty it's freaking awesome. Ok I just looked it up and it's a Canadian company, but it looks like the same style clothing, they also sell adult stuff too, usually uber expensive but the sales are amazing. (ie $35 sweater for $6)
Maham- I was going to say that the cold symptoms Noah is showing sounds like teething, I've heard lots of babies get fevers from teething so not to worry, it's not your fault, try a little Motrin, or Hylands Teething tabs if you'd rather go the natural route.
Sera- Poor Kaylee, it's so hard when they're that sick, you feel so helpless keep her hydrated and give her lots of hugs. Oh and that's one sexy mental image I'm getting of you lol
Arty- I was thinking about your sleep issues with Georgie and my cousin (I was telling Christina about this) got a sleep doula for her son, she said within a week he was sleeping through the night and having great naps, if you would like, I can get her info for you. I don't know how expensive she is.
Juliebean- seriously get a video monitor and tape that boy somehow lol, I really want to know how he's moving that dang crib LMAO
ugh, ok I guess I have to cook dinner now, I guess we HAVE to eat
Karrie LMAO. That is hilarious. My niece Stephanie is 20. When she was just little like maybe 4, My sister (her mom) watched our other sister's baby boy. Well, one day she starts this conversation with my sister during a diaper change on my nephew.
niece "so mom, baby boys have penises?"
niece "and daddy's have tails?"
another long pause as my sister tries to figure WTH she's talking about. Then she cracks up laughing cuz apparently Steph had walked into their room when dad was buck naked and bent over getting clothes out of a drawer.
Ah yes I'm going to do story time every week. And I've decided that other people can dress their kids in sloppy messy ill-looking clothes and it's not going to change me. Ally-cat cemented that.
Ok, not that I was comparing. BUT I'd like to see all these babies that are above the 50% percentile. Seriously, PJ was just telling me that Gap 12-18 is too small for Landon and I really don't think Jax is going to grow into the 18-24s that we bought for summer. There were 3 11 month old boys there this morning that Jax could have run over like a Mac truck. I swear I could have offered them his almost too small 6-12 stuff and they could wear them next winter.
He's just over 21 lbs and I'll bet he's pushing 30" and he's been holding steady around the 40% area, so in comparison not that big. But whenever we see other babies in public and if we have a convo with the mother, you know the question is always asked "how old?" and he's always way bigger, so where are all these 50% and larger kiddos?
Sera, I'm sorry Kaylee's so sick!!!!! Awwww, I hope you get a shower at least! I hope she feels better soon...is she able to keep food down?
Peej, what's the Landon update?
Allie, oooo, I'm so jealous of that pool you went to, it sounds AWESOME!!!!! Oh yea, I keep meaning to take a picture of Colby's crib so you can feel sorry for him and make a rail cover. haha!
Kristi, that's HUGE for Wyatt to poop in the potty!!! WHOOOOOO!!!!!! He doesn't have trouble peeing in the potty, right? I saw in this catalog this small urinal to train boys! It even flushes! It's shorter, and said something like if they can stand to pee, they learn quicker...I have no idea about that, but it's funny looking!
Candace, I'm so sorry you are sick!!!!!!!! Ahhhhh!!! Do you have MS on top of that? you poor thing!
Mel, you are totally an awesome ebay shopper for those pricey things...well, pricey brand new from the store they came from...and pricey for that ninney who paid double retail for a used item. I thought I had more summer-ish clothes, and I don't, so I'm going to hit up ebay too. I have no idea what I'm looking for though, no clue on brands! I guess I can start with gymboree!
Heather, do you guys have the kitties yet?
Hey I keep forgetting to say that Colby's been taking at least 2 unassisted steps several times a day! He loves to walk around holding my finger, and my back is killing me from stooping over, in case he topples over. Ahhhh, where has the time gone.
Colby 4*2*08 and Daphne 12*16*10
