Fenugreek + pumping is not working out like I hoped. The first few days, my supply increased from 12 oz/day to almost 14, but then backslid to 12 again. Getting up in the middle of the night after no more than 5 hours to pump is fraying my nerves on top of job search and project stresses. I'm going to increase the fenugreek dosage from 6 pills/day to 9, and maybe find some blessed thistle, but no more night pumping for me.
For me, I found the fenugreek extract to work better. You can buy it at Earth Fare.

Have you thought about trying to get a presription for Domperidone? It has worked wonders for me. Keep it up! Your dedication is amazing!

You are so super dedicated, Laura! Wow, you are doing great.

Eden stopped beating me up when nursing. In case anyone wanted to know. Thank goodness that phase seems to be over, for now anyway.

I think my breastfeeding days are numbered. I am hoping to keep going but Caitlyn HATES it. She screams and screams and absolutely refuses to suck. Any tips?

I'm sorry. I don't have many tips, but I feel for you. This is what Karah did too. We are now pumping and supplementing. My lactation specialist suggested to stop offering a bottle and offer a sippy cup instead. Apparently, they will generally choose breast over a sippy cup. My child chose a sippy cup so I gave in....LOL. GL and KUP though. I hope you guys work through this nursing strike.

I hope yall have room for one more breastfeeding mommy. I just wanted to say Hi. I've exclusively breastfed my little one for 6 months. I just started her on solids about a month ago and she's doing great with that as well. I hope it's okay if I pop in every now and then. Right now Laityn gets so distracted when nursing..so our current battle is keeping her focused long enough to eat. She's so afraid she's going to miss something, silly girl.

Thanks. At this point, I do not think that I am going to pump, so when she absolutely won't any more we will be done. I am going to keep offering it to her though until my milk drys up.

Welcome. Tell me how you pronounce your daughters name? My daughter's name is Caitlyn pronounced like Kate Lynne.

Your daughter's name is beautiful. I love how you spelled it. You pronounce Laityn's name like Lay-ton.

I think we're heading in that direction too. She's 7.5mths old and I feel like there's no way I'm going to be a slave to the pump at this point....especially since the weather's warmer. I feel very happy with BFing as long as we did. We only made it 4mths with Khloe so we've almost doubled that

7 1/2 months is a lot better than I though we would get too. I was able to nurse last night and this morning, so maybe we have a little bit left in us. Each time I nurse her I think to my self that this could be the last time I nurse EVER, I think that alone is what is pushing me on.
