"Hardly anyone on the Feb board has passed that 1 hour test!"
Yeah, isn't that interesting! When is your 2 hour test? I will hear my results tomorrow, I really hope they are good.
Interesting about the bp, the doctor I have tomorrow should be better and I will believe more of what he says.
Today at Theo's 2 year check-up I asked his doctor if she will take care of this new baby from birth and she is going to do it![]()
I really love her, and she is so supportive of breastfeeding. She is going to come to the hospital right after he is born and admit him as her patient. With Theo, we had a doctor we didn't know and could barely understand. He just made a scary situation worse, so I am glad we will know our baby's doctor this time around!
ummm sometime before I go back to the doc at 30 weeks... I need to go and get it done but I need DH home for a couple of hours in the morning to do that and he's been working 12+hour days starting super early so it hasn't been possible, Maybe next week. good luck with your results. How was Theo's appointment? great news about his doc taking on the baby as a patient, that's gotta be a weight off your mind.

Hey girls! I am back from my prenatal appt. It went really well, other than having to wait longer than usual. My 3 hour results were normal, so I don't have GD!! Yay to that!! This doctor said that my bp is looking good, he is happy with it. One more appt in 2 weeks and then I have them every week. It is going so quickly now!
I told the doctor I wanted a vbac if all looks good so he is going to get me the consent form. I also asked about if I need to have the baby early, will they induce and he said no. So you are right Lauren, it is either c-sec or go into labor. No inductions on previous c-sections. Which is great
I think I will do a separate post on Theo's appt, so off to do that![]()
Good to hear you got such good news StephanieI just did the test today, oh what fun! first I went in and there was a room full of people. The pathologist came out took one look at me and said "oh are you here for a GTT? I'll have to do you next" good news! but there was one elderly man that shoved his way in before me, the woman was very apologetic and kept checking I was going to be okay (it's a fasting test so I hadn't eaten in over 12 hours) but she did him first rather than argue the point. So then I got in there and she couldn't get anything out of my veins, ie. not a drop! I was beginning to wonder if I was actually alive or not
so she stabbed me a second time and with a bit of digging finally got the blood she needed. She was stressed out because she had a full waiting room and apparently she is only allowed to try twice then she has to get me back in on another day. So I then drank the lovely sugary gunk they make you drink and sat around for 2 hours then went back in for the second blood draw and once again she got nothing, she tried again and got a tiny spurt but not enough then had to give up. Luckily she was able to call the doctors surgery around the corner and the woman there was able to take the sample. She was really rushing and saying we had to get there straight away like it was life or death, apparently I had 7 minutes between the 2 hour point and the blood being drawn or it was useless and I would have to do it all again ugh. The second woman took me straight in, got the blood and off I went but geez what a morning
I don't expect to hear about the results until my next ob appointment in 2.5 weeks.

Thought I would post these here if anyone is interested. I went to the dr. the other day and everything is looking good. Addelyn is measuring right on and I have gained 5 lbs now which isn't much but she said I should be gaining more now that I have gained what I lost. Anyway, here are some belly pics from today
