HAHAHA! Now if that REALLY was the case, you'd have got the u/s technician to write it down, put it in an envelope and send it to me

"Poky Puppy" sounds better than "Drippy", which is Alison's preferred name for our little girl....

nah sounds too much like hard work Anna!

Drippy and Poky Puppy are both better than the name my brother chose for my sister... "pena" his version of the word "penis"

Well girls, I have my u/s scheduled for Oct. 18th!!! I can't wait to see this little one!

First I have to go for an internal though, blah At least dh can come to both hopefully, that will make me feel better.

Today's appt was just with the nurse, but she was nice. Took some blood, urine, all that nice stuff. No hb check Blood pressure was normal, phew! (had pre-e with Theo). I didn't even get weighed, which is odd, but not like it matters since I don't know my pre-pregnancy weight. They are remodeling the office, so I didn't see a scale anywhere. Bad news is that it is costing us more $ this time around They won't take medicaid as a co-insurance, but they say that the hospital will.

Sounds like it was a fairly positive appointment then Stephanie. I'm glad you don't have to wait long for an ultrasound The nurse gives me a choice about whether I want to be weighed or not, I also opt out, I was weighed twice with maddi and both times were near the start, it's no big deal, you'd know if you were gaining too much or not enough I'd think and I'd rather not have numbers to obsess about. My Blood pressure has been great this time too (I was on meds for it with Maddi) but my doctor said that it's far more likely to be a problem in a first pregnancy as long as you have the same partner (otherwise it's like a first pregnancy all over again). It was very strange I have no idea why they would be... stress levels perhaps? anyway good news for us . It sucks that it's costing you more I hope they're at least right about the hospital.

The latest update, there is no u/s oct 18th

I have to switch doctors because we can't afford this one. They called today and explained our ins. I thought everything was 80% (ins)/20% (us). Well, I didn't realize there is a $2500 deductable this year and next year. That is $5000 more than we can pay, plus 20% after that. So we have to make sure we can get medicaid and go to another provider that takes it as co-insurance.

On top of that, they did $600 worth of blood work at my first appt that I think we are going to owe 100% of. OMG, I am so scared. I wish I could get a job, we are so broke. I can't stop cying over this.

over halfway now! woohoo, in fact if I have another c-section I have around 17 weeks to go bit scary really since we still have a purple room! we need to sand the walls before we can paint them because it's crapy textured paint...not fun!

Maddi has been teaching the baby, she held a foam number 1 against my belly the other day and said "see baby? that's a one. Moo baby, that's a cow" hehe

Sorry this is a nonsense post really, I am filling in time before I can put maddi to bed and wash the floor so I thought I'd give a bit of an update to anyone who might be interested
