    I worked out again today. And walked to the park. It was a beautiful sunny day here. The walk was nice but the sun made my migraine worse so it took LOTS of motivation to get to the gym and work out. I'm glad I did though.

    I made it to the gym again today. it sucked. i'm in the middle of a pretty bad fibro flare right now. i have a massage scheduled for myself on saturday. i can hardly wait.

    just a coupla more days until i weigh and measure again. hmmmm. . .

    Well, it's been a month since I started working out. I weighed in this morning at 217 pounds. Today's measurements are as follows.

    height: 5 feet, 8 inches
    head: 22 1/4 inches,
    neck: 14 5/8 inches,
    right upper arm: 14 inches,
    left upper arm: 14 1/4 inches,
    chest above boobs: 40 inches,
    chest at nips: 45 1/2 inches,
    chest under boobs: 38 5/8 inches,
    waist at belly button: 44 5/8 inches,
    high hips: 49 1/2 inches,
    low hips: 50 1/4 inches,
    right thigh: 27 1/2 inches,
    left thigh: 28 3/4 inches,
    right knee: 17 7/8 inches,
    left knee: 17 7/8 inches,
    right calve: 16 3/4 inches,
    left calve: 16 1/4 inches,
    right ankle: 9 3.8 inches,
    left ankle: 9 1/2 inches,
    right wrist: 7 inches,
    left wrist: 7 inches.
    My BMI is now 33.0 (down from 33.4)

    For the sake of comparison, my measurements one month ago:
    Today I joined the gym. My bp was 138/82. I weigh 220 pounds. My measurements are as follows.
    height: 5 feet, 8 inches
    head: 22 5/8 inches,
    neck: 14 1/2 inches,
    right upper arm: 14 1/4 inches,
    left upper arm: 14 3/8 inches,
    chest above boobs: 41 1/4 inches,
    chest at nips: 47 1/2 inches,
    chest under boobs: 40 1/2 inches,
    waist at belly button: 45 inches,
    high hips: 49 5/8 inches,
    low hips: 48 7/8 inches,
    right thigh: 29 1/2 inches,
    left thigh: 29 3/8 inches,
    right knee: 17 3/4 inches,
    left knee: 17 5/8 inches,
    right calve: 16 7/8 inches,
    left calve: 16 7/8 inches,
    right ankle: 9 1/4 inches,
    left ankle: 9 3/8 inches,
    right wrist: 7 inches,
    left wrist: 7 inches.

    At first, I was upset because some measurements show that I'm bigger. BUT, some show that I'm losing too. I think that I'm redistributing stuff. Growing muscle. Moving fat around. I dunno. At any rate, I think I feel better than I did a month ago. I sure can do more a the gym than I could when I started.

    I'm going to keep it up.

    Well, after not working out over the weekend and missing yesterday d/t a migraine and a sick baby, I finally made it back to the gym today. I did 90 minutes of cardio but no weights. I feel good (except for the damn migraine).

    I'm so excited! I bought myself a pair of gym shoes! I've been wearing birks to work out in. The shoes I bought are SO much more comfortable. I'm glad I finally bought some good gym shoes.

    Today I worked for 35 minutes on the eliptical and 35 minutes on the bike.

    I feel pretty good.

    WTG Heidi! I totally see that you've lost inches and ITA with you on the the increase in measurements. it must be muscle and the weight redistributing itself!

    I'm so glad you got some good comfy shoes to work out in.. it makes all the difference! wish you were closer so we could be work out buddies
