10 dpo levels: Progesterone 27, hCG 10.6
12 dpo level: hCG 53.9
14 dpo levels: Progesterone 34.5, hCG 152.4
21 dpo level: hCG 2646.5

Ultrasound 11/10/08: One tiny baby measuring right on target with a heartbeat of 119!
Appointment 12/31/08: heartbeat 150, uterus measures right on target at 14.5 weeks
Appointment & u/s 1/28/09: Healthy (surprise) baby, measuring right on track at 18w 2d! Heartbeat 140.
Appointment 2/23/09: Uneventful!
Appointment 4/2/09: Passed glucose test, anemic. Baby's HR 148. VBA2C definitely still a go!

BFP at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 20th (12 dpo) ~ EDD July 1, 2009
BFP confirmed with our GP, Doctor K, Thursday, October 23 (15 dpo) ~ Pap, exam and bloodwork done as well


Symptom list:
Cramping started at implantation dip/spotting at 8 dpo. Sometimes sharp shocks. Started fading to just aches around 6.5 weeks.
Easily irritated starting around 10 dpo. Getting better around 6-week mark, but still testy some days.
Morning sickness started around 5-week mark. It's either full-blown or nothing. Worst when blood sugar low.
More frequent (otherwise normal) bathroom visits around 5 weeks as well. Runs sometimes with high nausea.
Sore nipples from about 6 to 7 weeks.
Sheesh, what the heck is up? I don't remember being swamped with all of this with Erin!

First OB appointment: December 9, a day shy of 11 weeks. Doctor S said my fundus was measuring higher than he expected for my dates and ordered ultrasound to look for twins. That appointment coming up on December 17.

First ultrasound at 12 weeks: December 17 with Doctor D. ONE little baby in there! Measuring ahead at 12 weeks 6 days. Heart rate 158 beats per minute.

Second OB appointment at 15 weeks: First time hearing Baby's heartbeat with the doppler. 160 bpm. BP normal. Weight gained: not quite a kilo (roughly 2 lbs). Doctor S says everything is just perfect.

18 weeks: Started feeling little kicks that were definitely baby

Third OB appointment at 19 weeks: Anomaly ultrasound and regular appointment afterwards. We're having a little GIRL! Everything perfectly normal, cervix long and closed and all measurements within two to three days ahead. Urinalysis done to check for possible causes of abdominal pains. Got copy of discharge papers from Erin's birth; must contact hospital for the rest.


Will add link to ultrasound video when we get it edited down to a reasonable size.

21 weeks: I'm so DONE with this wretched heartburn. Started drastic diet changes - MUCH smaller meals (child-sized servings pretty much) more times a day, one or two big bowls of lettuce a day (romaine is alkaline), raw almonds, yogourt, taking four papaya enzyme tablet doses instead of one, Diovol for times when a barrier is needed, more whole grains, eliminating more sugar (bye bye yummy juices) and reducing meat portions as much as possible while still getting enough protein to keep my headaches/migraines at bay.

Fourth OB appointment at 23 weeks: Discussed the information I received from the hospital concerning Erin's birth. Very upset, but able to really communicate with Dr. S who was very understanding and validated my concerns. We're going to start doing up a birth plan together at my 31-week appointment (he's on holidays for my next appointment).

Next appointment: April 3 (different OB, Dr. R)

Tests!

Tested 3 times just to be sure. Twice on 10/23 in the afternoon with an IC and with an Equate pregnancy test and again the following morning.



Ultrasounds!

11/6/08: Had 2nd ultrasound today and saw a heartbeat! They said my due date is July 3rd. Yay!


12/29/08: Sara did an ultrasound for me!

1-15-09 It's a boy!!!!

2-12-09 Two vessel cord diagnosis
2-16-09 Sara scanned me again to check the cord and to check all of his organs. Everything looked good.


3-17-09 4d shot from the Perinatal Center. No, he doesn't have a growth on his lips; the cord is in front of his face and caused a distortion.
