Thanks Heather!! I'm really starting to get in a routine with this exercise. My biggest thing is food. Last night I had chinese (woops!) I just didn't feel like cooking and that was just an easy dinner to get. I'm going to try not to slip up again....but it WAS good Lol

I hope everyone has a great, productive day!!

Good scores so far everyone! Remember, I need to report them tonight, so please get them posted for me. I'll send pm reminders to those that haven't.

I'm totally slacking in the exercise department. It's really hard to fit it in when you work full time, need to make dinner and clean up at night, and want to cuddle with your baby. At least when I am working out that means she gets to cuddle with daddy.

I just talked with Lynn. She's not able to participate in this challenge for family reasons. She said she hopes we're not mad, but I told her we're not, just needed to check in on her and if she needs anything to let us all know.

Thanks for posting the points Sara! I am getting that concensus we talked about. I will let you know tomorrow if everyone replies!

Same ole same ole today. I had a barter meeting with my MIL today. (A bunch of old ladies getting together to garage sale things with points instead of money) They served chili with cheese, chips and dip, and tortillas with salsa and guacamole, and a bunch of desserts that I forced myself to not look at....lol. I ate a cup of chili with a tbsp of cheese and a tortilla with water.

DH and I are still working out to Jillian and boy is she tough. I am now able to make it through the entire dvd with out stopping!!!

Jen, have you tried the new healthy choice steamers? DH loves the chicken sesame over rice and the sweet and sour chicken over rice. They are sooo easy and fast when you dont feel like cooking dinner!

Thanks Heather. I over calculated...lol. Not sure where I got 180 from!!! lol

These sound really good! I like healthy choice things. I think I might have to try them!

Yesterday was a good day. I got in a long walk with Mollie while my DS and neice were at preschool. Today I forsee being a HUGE cleaning day around here. I have a very busy weekend coming up, it is DD's b-day! So we are doing a kid party on saturday and maybe the family one on Sunday.

Have a great day everyone!

Deidre, I have tried the new steamers. I had the meat merinaera (sp?). It was really good. I'll have to try some of the other kinds. I'm all about quick, easy, healthy foods....and I LOVE pasta and rice!!!

Khourtniey, how is Alo doing? I really hope he's doing alright. Give us an update when you get the chance.

My goal for today: drink ten 16 oz bottles of water. This will help me fill up and not snack as much (which I have been doing some lately) and help my milk production, which has gone to the crapper....AND I had to up Rylee's bottles at daycare today. So my goal is two fold.

I did a great workout yesterday, my legs are sore. We did walk away the pounds with George Forman. I didn't know how I'd like those walking in place kind of DVDs, but this one really wasn't bad. It worked my legs and butt really well. Now if I can start doing some situps to get rid of this baby flab belly, I'd be perfect!!

Well, sorry for the book. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Jennifer, Alo ended up getting sicker in the hospital, but he is doing well and as long as everything comes back ok today then he will get to come home. He is HATING being in there and away from me. I visit him every day for a few hours a couple times a day. He just cries and cries when I have to leave. It breaks my heart but within 5 or so seconds after Im gone he is fine.

I want to run today but it just depends on how things are with Alo.

Oh and this morning I started off eating bad. I ate a strawberry grain bar and then a pumpkin muffin.. but they were both sooooo good.

Aww Khourtniey, I'm so sorry Alo got so bad, but SO happy he's getting better. And I hope he gets to go home today!! I can't imagine how difficult it must be for him to be in the hospital, and for you too!!

I hope you get to go running. I know it always helps me to get out and get some activity in when things are stressful or rough.

And it's totally OK that you splurged, it happens. At least you didn't eat a whole entire order of sweet and sour chicken and an entire box of rice like I totally caved the other night Smile No food points for that day!

Khourt, I hope Alo gets better soon! Poor thing...

Well, today is my two year anniversary and DH wants to go to Olive Garden. I told him that is was ok. So, no workout for today, but I will supplement for it on Sunday. I am going to try to eat in portions which is hard for me and that is why I gave up all fatty and sugary foods b/c I have no self control when it comes to those types of foods.

Dont forget to update your points if you havent yet, and check in on the week 2 mini challenge! Its ten extra points!!!

How did everyone do today?

I'm really happy with my food for the day. I had to go out for lunch and had a chicken, walnut, grape, and apple salad. Then tonight for dinner we made some baked pasta. Usually we just do pasta, meat, and sauce but we added in a whole bag of spinach and some mushrooms for extra veggies. Yum!

Someone brought my favorite kind of donuts to work today. There are also ginger cookies, another of my favorites. It was hard, but I walked right past them. Passing up sweets will get harder the closer we get to the holidays, that's for sure. I filled up my water bottle and pumped instead.

I did ok at Olive Garden. I had the manicotti formaggio and salad with one breadstick. I only ate 1/3 of my manicotti b/c i got full on salad. It broke my heart to see the food I paid for go to waste, but I would rather see the money go down the drain instead of it go no my hips!!! lol. So, I will only have points for support and water for yesterday.

Great job Sarah on forgoing the sweets!

I'd say you should still get your food points for the day unless something else happened. You ate a reasonable portion of what could have been a lot more calories. It looks like you used good judgment and portion control!

I agree with Sarah, Deidre. I would count the points. As long as Im getting all of my fruits/veggies and eating my meals then I am counting the points.

I'm in agreement too, Deidre!! You ate a reasonable portion and made very wise choices.

Me on the other hand, didn't feel like cooking dinner again and we had pizza. I'm sorry ladies. Working full-time and having to come home and cook has gotten the best of me. I promise to do better!!

I did get my 10 bottles of water in yesterday. I didn't do nearly as well today. Only 7. I did get 40 minutes of exercise at work today. We did another walking DVD. It was a really good one.

I agree with all the pp Deidre about the food points!

Jennifer I love how you do the videos at lunch with coworkers. What a great idea!

Khourt- how is Alo? I hope he is feeling better!

Sara- Good for you for not giving into the sweets, you are right, it is going to be tough for the next couple of months. Perfect time to be in this challenge!!

I did great today for exercise. I went for a walk this morning with Mollie, then walked again tonight with my sister. I did ok for water, I will have to try to do better tomorrow with water to keep up my milk supply. Keep up the good work everyone! I can't believe we are already nearing the end of week 3!!!

Alo is feeling better. He is still taking his meds and stuff but hes pretty much back to normal.

I did crappy for exercise today.. It has been a long craft day here at my house. We did hand turkeys and painted some glass decal thingies did some paper mache(?) and then I made a treasure hunt for Kaia. Im tired from all of that. Tonight I will put a movie in for the kids and get in some situps and pressups at least. I really want to go running but that isnt going to happen.

Our apartment has a gym but the hours its open just doesnt work for me though maybe I can con my sister into watching all 3 for me tomorrow so I can go when they are open. Or I might as well run if I can get her to watch all 3. I could take them with me probably but Id have to be sure there was nobody else in there. The little kids would chill in their seats while I worked out but Kaia would want to get into all of the stuff. The room is verrrrry tiny though.. Like just big enough to fit maybe 9 treatmills.

Good morning!! Need to update my points for the week so far. I think (without stepping on a scale) that I may have lost a pound or so. My loose work pants seem a bit looser. Might also have something to do with AF. Tonight is my first night at the bar. I may not get true exercise in, but I will be on my feet and walking allllllll night long.

Sorry it is way to early 6:30 am, I forget who walked passed all the sweets at work but that is wonderful. My willpower isn't so good.

Hope I am not to late for the mini challenge. Going to check it out now.

Is there a mini challenge for this week? I didn't see one anywhere unless I missed it.

I did Namaste Yoga from Fit TV last night. Man are my legs sore today!

I suckered my sister into watching all 3 of them for me today and I went running. It was so nice outside, beautiful, yet cold. 2 more miles... I have a feeling I will not make my 50 mile goal for this challenge.

I did ok yesterday. All in all a very boring day. I did my regular workout and drank the regular amount of water. I am really surprised that I worked out b/c I was feeling so lazy.

I am so glad that you got to get out Khourt. I bet you really needed that.

Today was my DD 7th birthday and we had a kid party here at the house. She had 14 girls come over, plus some of their brothers came to play with my DS. It ended up being a great time, but I am glad it is over! So today I cleaned a ton getting the house ready, but did not actually get to walk or anything. Tomorrow I will hopefully get to walk!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

That sounds like a fun, crazy day!

I didn't get much done today. I think we're in a growth spurt so Baby G was practically attached to my boob all day and left me pretty much no time to do anything. I have at least been able to eat well today which is usually my weekend downfall.

Tomorrow is a family Thanksgiving. I'm not going to deny myself any of the yummy food, but I won't be eating until I'm stuffed either.

I've had a pretty lazy weekend. DH was gone Friday and came back last night. It was a nice girls day where DD and I just hung around the house. We bundled up and went for a walk, played, and I fixed grilled cheese and had chicken noodle soup for dinner.

I hope everyone has had a great weekend!

What a crazy weekend. Started my new job as a waitress. You will never guess how many miles I walked in that place in 2 nights. 6 miles total  My phone has this cool lil step counter on it. I put 12 for exercise for F/S b/c I never stopped moving from 9-3 am. Our chore today was raking leaves yet again. Yeah!

How was everyone's weekend???

The other kiddos are doing ok but I wasnt able to get in much exercise besides cleaning a ton. I had some unexpected visitors phone and want to come by today!! Today was just another normal day around here.

My weekend ended up being a crazy birthday weekend. Kid party saturday and family party on sunday. So lots of cleaning, preping and partying! It was all fun. Needless to say there was a lot of cake! I held off on saturday, but indulged twice yesterday... so no food points for me! But that is ok. I did end up taking a walk after the kids were in bed last night with my sister (it was FREEZING, about 15 degrees F outside). So I am happy I got that walk in (3 miles, not too bad for 9pm at night!)

My goals for this week are start drinking more water again (at least 10-12 for points)
Exercise at least 30 -40 minutes or more at least 5-6 days.
Eat small meals often so my blood sugar doesn't drop. (I don't know if it is because I am EBF, but I will get these blood sugar lows where I start to shake and I absolutely need to eat quick... so of course it is whatever is the closest and easiest) When I eat small portions often, this tends not to happen and my blood sugar will stay stable.

So here is to a good week everyone!! Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Hey there ladies. This may be my last day to check-in until Sunday. I might come on here tomorrow or I might not. I'm going out of town on Wednesday and won't be back until Saturday evening. No internet, so I'll be MIA for a bit. Just wanted to give a heads up. I'll update with what little points I earned on Sunday Smile

Yesterday was an OK day. I ate fine and I did a lot of house work. Well, I hope everyone has a great day!

PS - Was yeserday really the end of week 3?!?!?! Where has the time gone?

How is day 1 of week 4 going for everyone? This is going to be a tough week, that's for sure.

I'm getting my hair cut tonight (hopefully) but I'm still going to try to work out too. I didn't walk over lunch because I have some knitting I need to get done by Thanksgiving for my sister.

Almost everyone has reported their points for week 3 so far. Make sure you get them posted ASAP!

Today was a great day for me though physically Im feeling the effects.. I went running today (yay for conning my sister into watching my hooligans again).. I normally do the same 2 mile route.. 1 mile there and 1 mile back. Today I didnt even get half a mile into my run and my knee started hurting.. No problem I just took it easy well on the way back I took a detour.. It ended up taking me 1.5 extra miles (darn train on the tracks made it a bit longer but it was nice).. Aynway, the detour was some hilly grassy slopey stuff and running on that made my knee hurt even worse.. Then right before I get back to my house is a little part maybe 200 yards where it is gravel mixed with some parts of cement and smallish to biggish rocks.. running that just about killed me. I ended up walking a lot more today. The weather was nice though and despite running into the wind the first part and getting a bug in my eye (hurt like heck and took me about 2 hours before I finally got it out) it felt very nice.

Ill probably try the same path again tomorrow but Im going to have to find my knee brace!

Ill count up my points tonight and post them. I dont get any support points for yesterday though Sad I was here and reading just didnt post anything.

Yesterday was good, I did the elliptical for over 40 minutes and drank water, but I still need to drink more water. It actually snowed here last night! Ugh. So much for walking with the stroller for awhile! It will be crazy around here with Thanksgiving coming up! Hope everyone has a great holiday!

If you haven't seen it yet, the mini challenge for week 3 is up. It's short, you only have until tomorrow afternoon to do it. You can post up to 5 healthy, tried and true recipes for a max of 10 extra points. This one is easy enough!

hi ladies, so I totally forgot to let y'al know that I was going camping, and only remembered when I was about 2 hours away. So sorry!

I had a BLAST. DH, Brayden, and I went with DHs friend to Kistache National Forest here in LA. I am going to post pics tonight, but for two days we stay in the middle of the forest (think no bathroom type camping)!!! The first day we got there at 2pm and set up camp and then went on an hour hike through the woods. We did bible studies around the campfire and then pretty much goofed off until midnight. The next day we had breakfast and did our own thing all day until 3pm when we took a three mile hike. It was great!!!! The land was hilly and so so beautiful. Brayden slept the entire second hike in my moby, so I was carrying an extra 15lbs of dead weight the entire way, but at the end I felt so exilerated b/c I would have NEVER been able to do that before without huffing and puffing the entire way!!! Needless to say, DH has decided that we will be doing this moe often...lol.

Sara, I updated my points for the week. They total 123.

ETA: I lost 3lbs this week! 15lbs down!!!

Great job Deidre! I'm sorry Khourt. I'd bet it's muscle gained!!

I've lost a pound and a half in the past week. I guess the working out is helping!! Finally, something to prove my hard work.

Well, this is my last check-in until Sunday. I'll be headed north for Thanksgiving. I promise I'll do my best to stay on track!!!!

I hope everyone has a very happy and safe Thanksgiving. See ya'll Sunday.

Thanks ladies! It was so great to see results of all my hard work!!

Things are really starting to become routine which is great, but I kind of miss the challenge ya know?

I walked for an hour today with Brayden on our cities walking path along the lake. It was so breezy and delightful. I sang praise and worship songs and Brayden laughed at me...lol. I hope you ladies are doing good on your plan!!!
I don't plan on "dieting" tomorrow for Thanksgiving, but I will not be gorging which was normal for me. I am excited to eat stuffing and pie, but more excited to know that I now know when to stop!!!

HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY!!!!

Don't forget to post your healthy recipes in the mini challenge thread. It's an easy 10 extra points!

How does everyone plan to tackle tomorrow? I'm like Diedre. I'll eat a little of everything I want, but I'm not going to eat to the point that I'm stuffed and can no longer move.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I had lots of good food, but not so much that I was stuffed. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to work out, but that's ok. I have all day tomorrow to do that.

Did you guys see we weren't last for the challenge? We're moving up. Keep up the good work!

Hell Yes!!! 197!!!!!

Lol, that is what I saw on the scale this morning! I am officially below 200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did a happy dance right there in my bathroom in my tighty whities...lol.

I did great with Thanksgiving. I have a little bit of everything, and was full. About 2 hours after dinner I had a 2" by 3" piece of Chocolate Pie (made with skim milk and sugar free pudding) and a chocolate chip cookie. I didnt get to work out either, but I will be working out on Sunday to make it up!

Thanksgiving was great here. I had tons of veggies but within the past 3 days Ive eaten an entire pie all by myself!!! Yikes!! Ive not stepped on the scale lately lol I did get in a walk/jog yesterday with my sister. Today I did not go because it was raining and Ive been busting my butt cleaning house all day. I moved some stuff in my living room to put my tree up.. Im actually still working on. I just had to take a break to do Alos feed.

Tomorrow I will run even if it is raining. Ill just go 1.5 miles.

Tonight I want to do some leg and ab exercises but it will be a few hours still.

BTW Congrats on the weightloss Deidre. You are doing fabulous. Ive lost nothing only gained during the challenge!!

Great job Deidre getting below 200! That is awesome! For the first time this morning I actually saw a loss of 2 pounds. Not sure if it is water or what, but I will take it!

Sara, I love it when I do strength training and I get sore! It means I really accomplished something!

I have been doing good. I walked on thanksgiving, cleaned and shopped all day long on friday and then took an hour walk with Mollie today. Yay!! Hope everyone is doing well!

Hey there ladies!! I hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving. It sounds like ya'll did well. I didn't eat well on Thanksgiving day or the day after, but I stuck to my guns before and after those days. We're home now and I'm ready to get back on track. I made sure I didn't bring any goodies home and I ate well while on the road.

Well, I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
