That is a scary story! Your family must have been terrified!

I am so glad that your husband took you to the second hospital!

I hope you feel 100% soon, and try to take it easy, and enjoy the holidays...let everyone else do the work!

    Hugs!

Wow, that was soooooo scary- you definately had angels watching over you!

Now, here's my lecture.....YOU MUST TAKE IT EASY!!!!! My Mum had a similar scenario in 2000, and it caused lots of ongoing issues...I don;t want to scare you, but she did too much too soon, and caused more adhesions that way. Because they have to irrigate all that pus out, you 'lose' the natural lubrication around your organs, especially all your intestines and and that can be problematic. Plus your whole system has taken an enormous beating, and needs time to begin to recover. I'm so sorry if I sound bossy, but I feel so bad for what you've been though and wish you a smooth recovery...please, please, please baby yourself!!!!! Hard to go against character I know, but believe me, it'll make a difference in the long run.

    Lecture over now.

you don't sound bossy! In fact I had to chuckle..because I talked to the Dr. yesterday and he said the same thing...LOL. I called him because I had to know if I was normal or losing my mind. He compared it too being run over by a semi truck. I'm not good at being out of control I guess.

thanks again to all of you. I think its hard because aside from the c-sections, I've always been really healthy. I've always depended on that too. Its funny how easy it is to believe that nothing can ever happen to you, then when it does, I'm scrambling to be myself again. blah.

I'm so glad you are home and on the mend. You really HAVE to take it easy and rest. Your kids need you healthy, so don't try to do too much!!!
