Well, we found out at our u/s yesterday that we're having another boy. Everything looked good, and it was so nice to see how healthy and active he is. We go for our next appointment on March 9. It's weird that I'm already half way through! This pregnancy is flying compared to last time.

    Erin,
Congrats on your baby boy!!!!! Isn't funny how being pregnant the second time goes by faster for some reason?! Alos, i find it funny that all of us October mommies who are pregnant again, are having the same gender as our first...how weird is that?!

I did prefer a boy, mostly so that we won't have to buy much new, lol. I also like the idea of brothers being closer in age, and I hope they'll get along well with each other. DH *really* wanted a girl, so he's very disappointed, but we'll probably have one more after this, so he's still got another chance.

Yuck, isn't it too early to be puking already?!? I suppose that means I'm having a girl, don't 'they' say that girls cause lots of early morning sickness? I know Jensen had me puking my guts out by about 7 weeks... That would fit the Oct '05 mommie pattern, too.

    Stef,
so sorry you are feeling m/s!!!! YUCK!!! I also had it realy bad too with this pregnancy. As for having m/s and it being another girl, I have heard lots of women that have m/s andhave aboy..so it's really up in the air.

I found that if I kept my stomach full (I ate small meals frequently throughout the day) that it really helped me. HTH!

I had my first prenatal appointment yesterday! I am so silly to have been so nervous! The appointment went great - all my bloodwork from the last time came back fine and I got to hear that tiny heartbeat!!
It was faint as little one was trying to hide but it was a steady 145 BPM It is sort of just sinking in...God has given me another blessing!! I am so excited!

PS - I cannot BELIEVE I am almost 13 weeks already!

So glad your appointment went well. I don't have my firt appointment until next week. I hate the wait in between appointments. It's the worst.
