WOW!! Thst is AWESOME!!! I would have loved for that to happen for me! Never did though until I was around 4-6 weeks PP. For me, when breastfeeding, I always kept on an extra five pounds or so until I weaned and then it came off....or maybe it just seemed like that....I do like my sweets....

And pammy - only 5 weeks left?!? Where did that time go?! Seems like just yesterday you told us you were expecting again!

Monica- Glad they don't foresee any problems with the placenta. Still planning the homebirth?

yeah, still planning the homebirth, I have been doing co-care for a copuple months now until I know for sure everything is good. I go back next week, and see what the OB has to say about the placenta position and take it from there.

It just seems like when I think things are going well my stupid work's benefits turn and F*&$ us. STD industry standard for time off for a C-section - 8 weeks right? MFs say no, I have to return to work in 6 weeks, and if I am doing good enough to return to work prior to 6 weeks I may have to reimburse the company. ARRGGHHHH!!!! THESE @$$H*!$ I hate my jobs benefits package, insurance, STD, everything! It isn't worth it!!! I swear, the moment I get back to work, I am looking for something else. I am sick of getting screwed and paying out the behind for crappy benefits.

Oh and I forgot to mention the 7 day waiting period BEFORE the benefits even kick in. GRRRR....

On a happier note, Caroline went in for her first followup. She is doing great, in 12 days she has gained 6 oz since birth, bringing her up to 9 lbs 4 oz. The doctor said we don't have to come back until her 2 month appointment for shots since she is doing so well. Guess my booby juice is working, HA!

had my 30 week last friday, everything is good, my iron levels are a little low so I need to be good about my taking my iron pills, I don't want to risk out of a homebirth, since i don't plan on going back to the OB at all. We scheduled my next 3 appts, with my 36 week appt. being my home visit where she drops off a bunch of stuff so it will be here when I go into labor, also to make sure she knows how to get here. Right now it is scheduled for my bday so I might change it, not sure if we will do anything or not that night. And then I go back next week, the time really flies once the appts. are only 2 weeks apart.

Wow, I can't believe you're so close, Monica! My sil is due 17 days after you are. I wish you all the best with the homebirth. We'll be doing that next time, so I may need to pick your brain!

I feel a little funny posting on here just yet...but I have my first appt today. I wonder what my midwife will do. Probably order some Hcg levels and check my progesterone. I hope and pray my levels are okay. If I have to go on that stinking progesterone suppository cr*p............I will puke!!!!
