Oh gosh, how cute, I love all the photos!
I posted this on October board but here it is again:
Kyle 11/10/05, Connor 09/10/07
Faelynn & Finnley 09/24/12
Doing okay here, got a routine now (feeding schedule), and most days aren't so crazy like the early weeks. We are down to 4 feeds a day which is great. They have their last one at 10PM, then it's down for the night till the morning, and the next feed is at 9AM (after the school drop off). They seem to not mind any. It'll get easier once they can hold their own bottles and then we can all have breakfast together. For now, my focus is getting the 2 older ones out the door which sometimes is a harder struggle than twins! (My 5 year old, he's going through a very "naughty" stage right now, stubborn, doesn't listen, and so on.)
Finnley still has colic or maybe it's just his acid reflux only now (hard to tell), still cries a lot, doesn't want to be put down, etc. Faelynn, she's so easy to take care of but I feel so bad she doesn't get as much attention because of Finn. I'm hoping once we start cereal at the end of the month, he'll calm down some, he sucks his bottle dry and that's nearly 9 oz. each. Going to try Plum Organics since they have probiotics in it, hopefully will help ease his digestion issues. I also have the Podee bottles to try out at 4 months, fingers crossed!
How are you doing? Anyone here from DannyT at all? I wonder how her twins are doing.
P.S. Anyone else get tons of attention because of twins? As in out shopping, etc, we stopped a lot by strangers who are so curious and then there are others who cringe in fear, haha
We are doing well. We are at 5 feedings a day, normally 6 oz each. They have their last one around 7:00pm and then they sleep - sorta! They are in their swings and only sleep 1/2 night there and they rest with me, which is sometimes restless. My DD was a terrbiel sleeper and these 2 are as well! We are going to start working with them again - right now, Rayce has a cold and an ear infection and Ryin has RSV and an ear infection, so we are waiting until they feel better!
Other than that, just hanging out and watching them learn and focus on new things - I LOVE double the baby smiles!
I have not heard from Danielle - I know with the twins and her DH's surgery soon after, she's probably just SUPER busy!
And yes, I get stopped, asked questions and get started at all the time - I love when I'm walking past someone and I hear as I move on "Oh my gosh, look, twins!" LOL. I try and have fun with it!
