Hi! My name's Molly, I'm 24 years old and have been married for two years; and am a SAHM mom! My two girls are three years old and ten months old. This is definitely an unexpected BFP, but the line is unmistakable! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here Smile

Aggiegirl06's July Space

Meet the Parents

I'm Amanda, 27 and DH is Matt, 27. We've been together since we were 14 and married since March 15, 2008. We started TTC in June 2008 and after years of charting, months and months of Clomid, one angel baby, a laparoscopy, 3 HSG's 2 hysteroscopys and 2 IUI's we are finally here! Yahoo Due July 4, 2012!

BFP Pictures

Sharing the News

11/7/11: After our ultrasound we bought several cards that said "BABY" on the outside and "God's most perfect blessing" on the inside. We taped an ultrasound picture inside the card and wrote "Expected arrival July 4, 2012- Proud parents, Matt and Amanda" First up we told our BIL and SIL and they knew exactly what was going on when they saw "Aunt and Uncle" on the outside of the envelope. We shared lots of tears and hugs and left with lots of books about pregnancy! Next we went to DH's parents and they didn't clue in until they got the card all the way open and saw the ultrasound picture fall out. MIL immediately started screaming and crying and hugging both of us. She was so thrilled and just never came off cloud 9. From their house we facetimed with his sister and have the best picture of her reaction. Lastly we headed to my parents house and as soon as they saw us at the door they knew something was up. I don't think they even noticed the card until hugs had been given out! They were all thrilled and full of questions for us. Yahoo

11/24/11: We were not able to spend Thanksgiving with DH's family, so we face-timed with them during lunch. Everyone was there and gathered around the computer and MIL asked us what we were thankful for. We replied, "We are thankful that we are having a baby!"
Afterwards we went to lunch with my family and my niece wore a shirt that said "Big Cousin." It took my grandmother awhile but she was very excited!

12/19/11: We put the news on our Christmas card and they were delivered today! DH and I were each holding a stocking and we were both holding a baby stocking in the middle. It was so cute! We signed the card from "Matt, Amanda, and Baby *** arriving July 2012. The response has been overwhelming and wonderful!

Belly Pics

10/26/11: Beta confirmation, HCG = 123, progesterone = 20+
10/31/11: Beta HCG = 535
11/4/11: Beta HCG = 1314
11/7/11: Beta HCG = 5000+

10/23/11: BFP!
10/31/11: Took day off work because of abdominal pains. Nurse said it was probably just my uterus stretching.
11/7/11: Ultrasound with two sacs in my uterus! One sac definitely has a baby, and the other is either a) a twin we already lost, b) a fluid-filled sac, or c) a twin too small to see on ultrasound yet.
11/7/11: Shared the news with our families!
11/10/11: Saw the heartbeat! Definitely just one baby!
11/15/11: Heard the heartbeat 120 bpm!
11/18/11: Heartbeat 136 bpm!
11/23/11: Heartbeat 151 bpm!
11/28/11: Heartbeat 176 bpm!
1/17/12: It's a BOY!!

I'm Maggie and I'm 33. I have an almost 3 year old and this will be our second. I've been married a little over 4 years. We recently moved from CA to VT for DH's work, and in CA I worked 3/4 time for a non-profit as the Education Director. Since we moved, I've been mostly a SAHM, but I have been doing some part time contract work from home. Looking forward to sharing my pregnancy with you ladies, and sharing yours with you!

I used some random objects to prop up my BFP photo, a tape dispenser and a baby monitor Wink

Mommy & Daddy

xmas8Amber and Family NOV 2010 121xmas7

My name is Amber, and I'm 25. I love Photography and being a Mom.
I'm engaged to my sweet Fiance, Joel, who just turned 29 and loves all things sports.
We have been together for two years now, and recently got engaged this past April.

You can watch his secret video recording of the proposal here:

We were (or at least I was) in full planning mode for our big day coming up in May of 2012,
when on Halloween of 2011 I got a huge Shock.. I'm Pregnant!
This will be #3 for me and #1 for my DF.
We are both thrilled, and have simply decided to push the wedding back
another 9 months, to the spring following the baby's birth.

Big Brother & Sister
My DS is Jaxson Bryan. He is 5 years old and nothing short of all boy!
He loves playing sports and racing his toy cars all over the house!
He is such a momma's boy and a great big brother,
and no one adores his momma and baby sister like he does.

My DD is Payton Rose. She is 3 years old and quite sassy already!
This beautiful and sweet blue eyed little princess is the boss of our house...
(or so she thinks!) and is 100% her mothers daughter!
More so than anyone, she is so excited to be a big sister!

Darn, my post got eaten!

Anyways, this is my 3rd pregnancy. SO and I fell in love very quickly, and planned to be together forever, but things went downhill during my pregnancy with DS2, and we split up when he was 4 months old. After almost a year apart (although he spent most of his time at my place anyways lol), we got back together at the beginning of September. Last night, I got a faint line on a HPT, and got another one this morning!

We are THRILLED. Even though we hadn't planned on having another baby NOW, we did want another one. We are planning to get married (in an impromptu way...not really wedding people), and will probably do so before the baby is born.

Really NOT looking forward to telling my mom...she would have liked for ONE of my pregnancies to be planned, I'm sure! But, I know she'll come around...this baby will be very loved!

Haven't taken pics of the HPTs yet, but I will! Biggrin

We also have the cutest poodle mix who is also 8 years old. We got him right after our honeymoon.

I'm a singer (opera and Broadway), private voice teacher, and I am working on my doctorate in voice and expect to graduate in spring 2013.

We welcomed our son, John, on May 2, 2008. He is 4 now. Here he is as a newborn and at 1, 2, and 3 years old:

My name is Kim. I am 31. I Have been married since June 09. DH is 30 and he works full time at an electric company. We have one son who will be turning 1 on December 7. I am a Stay-At-Home mom and is really enjoying it.

This pregnancy was a little unexpected. We weren't planning but we weren't being careful either. This is a very welcome surprise, just a few months early.

Sparklee.com - http://www.sparklee.com
1st: December 16- Paper work and blood draw: All blood work came back good!!
2nd: December 27- See Dr and dating sonogram: Dr. did the sonogram and found the heartbeat right away. It was beating away and looking really good. The hr was 160. The baby measured 9 wks 1 day so the due date is July 7, 2012. I also talked to her about a VBAC and she said that I would get to try. No promises but that I can try..Yay!!
January 25- 4 week apt: Dr apt went great. BP was 118/74 and down 5 lbs. (morning sickness and just the yuck feeling helped out that number) Found heart beat. Took what seemed like forever but it registered at 150. So far so Good.
February 26- 4 week apt. Dr had a hard time finding heart beat again. She didn't wait as long and decided to do an ultrasound. Right away we saw the baby and heart beat. He just kept moving all over the place she had a hard time get a good reading on the heart other then it was very strong and sounded really good. It was nice getting to see the little one in there. The baby had one hand over the top of its head and was waving at us. PB was 118/76 and gained 2 lbs so far.
March 1- big sonogram: baby looked great and very healthy. The heartbeat was 133. It's a boy!!
March 22- 4 week apt. Apt went well. Baby looked and sounded good.
April 26- 4 week apt: baby sounded good hb140, bp 116/60. Gained a lot of weight this month but still only at 11 total. Glucose test passed 1hr, and rhogam shot today. On to 2 week apts.
May 10- 2week apt: good apt. Was pretty in and out. My bp was 116/65 and no weight gain. Baby getting big he has been moving like crazy and starting to hurt.

Thanksgiving Suprise!

Hello! My name is Christine and my happy baby daddy of a husband is Alec.

We have been trying for about a year to get pregnant and were not feeling very optimistic as I was dealing with polycystic ovarian syndrome and had stopped ovulating. I had been on medication for OCD and Bi-polar since 17 and after we got married I knew it was time to start getting off them so I could start trying for baby. Detoxing was a nightmare and then we found out about the PCOS Sad The doctors first recommendation was to drop some weight. I lost about 20lbs when my cycles started back up and I was peeing on a stick every month!

In November 2011 I was starting to get suspicious as nausea was creeping in and my period was no where to be seen. So I took my first test of the month and it was a big fat NEGATIVE! So i left the test on the bathroom counter and thought nothing more of it. Fast forward to the next day, Thanksgiving, and I was straightening my hair to get ready to go see the family. I happened to glance at the same test and was shocked to see it was now a big fat POSITIVE! I called my husband in to make sure I wasn't crazy and immediately took another test. Sure enough, we had our second positive. What a way to celebrate the holiday!

We went ahead and told our family at dinner because they all knew we were trying (and I have several cousins at various points in their own pregnancies). Getting to tell my grandmother especially was so important to me. I was so happy we got our positive when everyone was in town!

The following day we went to the doctors and they did another urine test. To my COMPLETE DISMAY it came back negative. I cried so hard, felt so awful I had told our family, it was just the worst.

Later that night my nausea came back with a vengeance and I was so sure of what I was feeling I took my third test (a different brand this time). Sure enough it was a resounding POSITIVE! I showed my husband and he knew we were definitely expecting. To be sure I took another test the following morning and yet another one (our third brand) later in the day. All positive! The doctor had said it was possible our test in their office may just not have detected my low levels of HGC.

I should be about 6 WEEKS in and we are DUE July 18, 2012. Our next appointment is not until 12/15. In the meantime I will be working on developing a good eating and exercise plan and looking into my birthing options. I am very hopeful that I can get in with our local birthing center rather than using the hospital.

I have a lot of research to do!

11-29-11: Well arg! My hubby has just started a new job (new job, new car and new baby all in one month!), and his insurance does not start up until May 2012. So Im sort of in limbo land. I have my heart set on this great Birthing Center, but I can't afford the out of pocket cost. So today I have started the battle of getting signed up for Medical benefits (which the center accepts). If I have to wait until May and then use our big main hospital to deliver...uhg. Thats my plan Z. I dread the thought of giving birth on my back. Id much rather be in a nice big warm tub with my own music playing and my hubby rubbing my back. Lets just hope Medical doesn't take 8 months to get back to me! Stay tuned....

A Long Time Coming...

Hi, I am Elizabeth. I'm going to introduce myself here, and will worry about pics later.

My dd was born in January 2006. It took me 4 years to convince my husband to have another one, and then another 2 years to conceive (which my husband insisted had to be done completely naturally). In fact, I'm still not convinced this is real, and expect any sort of thing to go wrong, which would be very sad. Things are very complicated right now, because I'm trying to work on my PhD thesis... I really have to get that degree! Also, my husband had a mini-stroke last week and is completely freaked out now over his health, as am I. So I haven't told anyone except my doctor about the BFP. Thus the need to post on this forum!

Actually, I think what triggered the BFP was that I finally gave up and put my daughters old diaper chaning table up for sale, and its sitting in the hallway ready to be hauled away... Biggrin If I'd have known that would do it, I'd have done it long ago!

Excited First Timers

Very Planned Baby #1

I'm Rachel, 25, and DH is Jason, 25. We have been together for 6 1/2 years, married for 1 1/2 years. The only child we have is our 2 yr old Dacsle, part dacsun part beagle. I am currently searching for a full-time job while DH is a Latin teacher for a prep school. This was a very planned pregnancy since I stopped Birth control in May, we decided we wanted a summer baby so DH will have the time off to help and started TTC in September. Even though I lost my job in September we decided that we did not want to wait to start our family and things will workout. So I started charting, DTD, checking temp and reading every pregnancy book known to woman.

11/15/2011- I expected to wake up, put a pad on and go back to sleep, but found no blood, so instead I peed on that addictive stick and saw those two pink lines...and left it on the counter for DH to find when he got out of the shower...we were both Excited and unbelieving.

11/19/2011- Told our parents they are going to have a grandbaby, 1st grandbaby for DH's family, 6th for mine.

12/17/2011- Told my other immediate family via Skype and they are extremely happy and excited.

12/13/2011- 7weeks 4days, got our first US and saw the HB, 149, now we starting to believe there is something growing inside me..well there's the HB and the nausea that lasts all day for the last couple weeks and lasted until about week 10.

12/18/2011- Told rest of DH's family at his grandpa's bday party, we had the best gift...his grandparents were elated for us and can't wait for their first great grandbaby.

12/25/2011- Told the rest of the family via Sype and at DH's parents house...it gets more real the more people we tell.

1/17/2012- Had 2nd dr appt and got to hear the HB at 150...still can't believe there is a human growing inside of me, but it seems to be doing well, and the nausea has finally cut down to only when I think of certain foods, not all day.

1/18/2012- DH told his boss who added our new addition to the faculty meeting's agenda...a copy is going in the baby book!
