Alex, I hope it all works out for you this month!
Lisa, yay for a great appt! Sounds like you have a boy there that's proud of it!
I'm getting nervous... I have an u/s Wednesday to check 3 things - my fluid level (which is what prompted the c-section last time), his size (as of a few weeks ago he was measuring a bit small), and his position (he's either very high or breech). If anything doesn't check out, there's a good chance I'll be having this baby Thursday...
Connie, I said it in your lodge, but I'll say it here too.
I'll be thinking of you & sending you all my good mojo on Wednesday.
Connie--I'm excited for you and hoping you get the birth you desire.
Lisa--I am also chomping at the bit to find out the gender.
I had my NT scan yesterday and I am measuring a day ahead of where I was at my 7 wk check. Zoe always measured a little small, so I have a feeling this one is going to be a big one. The tech mentioned that he could try to guess the gender, but I said no b/c I would hate to get the wrong result. I have exactly one week until I hit the second trimester and I am feeling worse by the day. Somehow, I am able to eat plenty, so I have gained about a pound a week since my last appt. I am now only 18 lbs away from the weight I was when I have birth to Zoe....ahhhh!
As for the baby, he looks fine (still assuming boy although I really don't know). The nuchal thingy was small, so as long as my bloodwork comes back okay, we will not need to do any further genetic testing. I can't believe the baby looks so human already. Legs were kicking and he even waved.
Kristen, yay for a good scan!! I hope the m/s goes away soon for you. Mine seemed to let up a bit earlier this time than last, so I hope that is the case for you as well.
Hooray for a great appt. Kristen, sounds like everything is right on track.
Connie - I hope every goes well with your upcoming appt.
Lisa - I am sure everything will be fine and dandy.
As for me, I feel like a house. I am feeling more and more significant movements and I can see my stomach move when he moves. Still don't have a name picked out yet. DH and I have no clue.
It definitely is harder with a toddler around. I am going to have my glucose test done soon. I am eating within the norm, I guess, lol. I need to up my water intake tho. I think I lack in that department.
-El mommy to B & A
Just chug-chug-chugging along.
Everything looked good at my u/s! He's head down, fluid's good, size is good. The tech said he's going to be long like Ethan was - his torso is really long.
No more u/s unless I go overdue as he wants to keep an eye on my fluid level once I'm past my EDD.
I'm so relieved!!!
Connie, I am so happy for you! I'm sure the good news was such a relief.
El, when is your glucose test? I have mine next Friday, I can't wait to have it over with.
