SO tired today, despite falling asleep at 9pm!

I was doing fine until my mother drove thru McDOnalds on the way to work (they live over our garage and we work inthe same bldg so we travel together)... ugh at least my fitnesspal keeps me on track food wise but that seriously limits my choices for the rest of the day! On the bright side I start Bellyfit tonight!! Should be a good work out

Oh and Kim I was wondering what a cutie is too! Deirdre Carvel and flying saucers?

Tasha I'm up for a pics thread, I was thinking it might be good motivation to add a pic of yourself at your best as well!

Marie and Tasha - What are your myfitnesspal user names? I'll add you if I can find you!

Marie- woohoo on getting all that exercise in! I love love love spaghetti!

Tasha- definitlely do the mini-challenge. Were you able to figure it out? I would also be down for taking pics... and I am going to research the oatmeal.

Sarah-Jean- I hope your friend is doing well.

Crystal- can't wait to hear about the Bellyfit. A cutie is a little orange/or mandarin/or well something orange colored and citrusy. LOL.

Looks like i should get myfitnesspal too.... I am such a dork. I have it. Friend me... kstonebarger

Today is starting well.... according to my work scale, I am already down since weigh in Monday. I am having no problem sticking to my eating plan and I am even doing better getting water down today too. I wanted to add that last night I played a game where I made myself do 15 full sit-ups for every 25 minutes of homework. I got in 100. Today, my stomach feels fine but my back and bum feel like heck. LOL.

My work computer is slow today and couldn't get on until now. Almost the end of the day :O)

    I. AM. HUNGRY.
I ate pretty good today too. Hummus and crackers for b'fast with a banana, half a veggie panini with an apple & peanut butter for lunch. the worst part is that I have to go to the orthodontist after work and then travel 20 minutes out of my way to pick up Erin from my SIL's. I'm probably not going to get home before 6:30-7:00 and THEN get to start cooking dinner. I doubt I'll get on the treadmill tonight after all the running around. I'll just want to cook, eat, clean, and then sit.

Kim - I think your sit ups/homework idea is genius!
I have to look into this myfitnesspal. Does it have any uses besides calorie counting. BC I don't do that since I try to make as much of my food from scratch. WAY to much work to figure out calories and portions.

What another busy day. So far, food wasn't horrible. Last night I didn't get my exercise all in, thanks to DH. Does THAT count as exercise? Lol! So tonight I have GOT to kick butt. I'll def have to check up on posts later after the kids get in bed.

Haha Marie - technically it IS exercise you know....

Deirdre - Myfitnesspal is primarily a food and exercise journal BUT there are lots of foods listed and if you decide to sign up then you can 'estimate' your food/cals by chosing something on the list that is similar to what you are making, there are even lots of 'homemade' options you can chose from. I'm a from scratch home cook too and I'll usually just find something that seems close to what I've made since I'm not into trying to figure out all the details myself.

AFM - BELLYFIT ROCKED and KICKED MY A$$!!!! SUCH A GREAT WORKOUT!! Even the cool down and stretching is hard work. Between that and yoga this morning I'm doing good fitnesswise but food wise not so much. I stayed within my calories but only because myfitnesspal gives you more for the exercise you do - otherwise I'd be way over!!

Wow Ladies! Way to kick butt!
I did not get exercise in today, but I'm home alone tonight AND get to sleep in a little tomorrow (bc I have to take Erin to daycare before work and the daycare isn't open when I normally leave for work). I think I may hit the sack early and then get up a little early and try to walk on the treadmill in the morning. But I'm already stressing the morning, so maybe not???

BUT...for dinner.....Beef and Broccoli. And it was DELISH! I promised my co-worker I'd bring in the leftovers for lunch tomorrow since I was eating alone tonight. Hope she likes it as much as I did. She's 8 weeks pregnant so it's hit or miss with her lately. But when she likes something, she REALLY likes it :O)
My orthodontist appt was canceled so I actually got home at a decent hour :O)

Marie - I didn't try the bread, but DH did. He said it was really tasty, but a little dense. Perhaps bc it's meant to be "sandwich" bread???

Marie, I think THAT should count lol. The directions say is has to be purposeful... I am purposely doing that to make babies

Crystal- so glad we are fitnesspal friends now. Since you can see what I do (or don't) it will make me be responsible

    Tasha- add us to myfitnesspal!!

    Deirdre- your dinner sounds YUMMY!

AFM- I did okay today... I am beating myself up over eating the rice crispy treat. I know it was only 90 calories, but still. It was looking at me, I couldn't resist.

    Bfast-slimfast
    Lunch- slimfast
Dinner- stuffed bell pepper (OMG, yummy)
Snacks- banana, 2 cuties, energy trail mix, a rice krispy treat (the snack size)
    Water 8 cups
And I walked a total of 4 miles in 55 minutes

According to myfitness pal, I have 274 calories of 1150 left. For those of you using myfitnesspal, what do you have your daily calorie limit set at?

Kim, dang girl! I have mine at 1400! And I have trouble staying at that! I guess I just love food. Heh heh. You will be at your target weight in no time for sure. I was looking at an ad today and it had little oranges called 'cuties'. Is that what your munching on? I wondered...

Deirdre, don't feel bad. No exercise here today. And I'm totally bummed about it. I just am sooooo tired tonight. Too much running around today.

Crystal, oooo bellyfit sounds fun! I have a hard time finding exercises I can do b/c I have really bad knees. Any squatting and they're toast.

Tasha, yeah for keeping everything on track! I swear, tomorrow I am following in your footsteps!

Sarah, here's hoping you don't get sick. AND your babes don't get sick all together. That would be a lot of sickies in one house. I hope your friend is doing well in the hospital.

I am sooooo ready for bed. Phew. Today, I spent the day with my grandparents. We live on the same road so I take Seth there at least once a week. My poor gramps is half blind and can't hear (neither can grandma really, both in their 80's) and while we were there, grandpa almost set the basement on fire!! Omg! If I wasn't there I don't know what might have happened. They couldn't even hear the smoke alarm going off. Not a fitness/diet related story, but I felt like sharing anyways.
Food related, tonight I made pumpkin spice waffles with whole wheat flour and turkey bacon. Very very tasty on such a yucky rainy night. Now to force some more water down my gullet and call it a night.
Oh! Add me on fitness app too!! wyvernsmile@yahooDOTcom.

Marie - ADDED! I have my calories set to 1200, and I know you 'earn' extra for exercise but I prefer to stick to the 1200 if at all possible, it's not usually too bad - for me entering everything I have brought with me for lunch in the morning helps so that if I have loads of extra cals left I can indulge a bit (we often have cake for birthdays, retirements etc) or else I know I can't. Then I just adjust if I don't eat everything When I'm really bad tho I go into my extra calories like I did yesterday - Thank Goodness for Bellyfit!

Oh Marie, I have knee problems too, I wrap mine when I run but I have to keep a feel on it so I don't hurt myself. I'm just glad I'm not as bad as DH - he's a former hockey player/jock so he's falling appart at 27!
