Hi,
I have four teen drivers whio will soon need auto insurance.
Can anyone share any advice on where to get a good deal on car insurance?
Thanks!
JT
Is there such a thing? I haven't had to deal with that yet. I know that in DH's family, there were 6 kids, and they were not allowed to drive unless they paid their share if insurance by getting a job. I'm not sure what we will do, because we will have a number of teens at once, and it's not cheap to insure them.

My oldest will be licensed soon and our insurance gives a discount if he takes an approved drivers Ed course. Plus it has accident forgiveness. So his first accident won't affect our rate. It is expensive to add him to our policy but we don't have to add him until he is actually licensed. so to drive the cars for his permit practice doesn't cost us more on our premiums. I can't remember how much it is to add him but soon I will have the new policy which adds him once he takes the exam.

Ask me in ten years--lol! I shudder to think what it will cost to insure 4 teens.....oy! I guess I'm lucky that we'll only ever have a 16, 18, and 20 yo at the same time......
Hopefully by 22 they'll be on their own for car insurance (hoping here!)
